"GOP presidential race looms large as potential hopefuls gather"

"A gaggle of potential Republican presidential candidates, including Govs. Chris Christie, R-N.J., Scott Walker, R-Wis., and John Kasich, R-Ohio, made the pilgrimage to Las Vegas Saturday to speak to a meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition, a small but influential group of GOP luminaries.

And, in a happy coincidence, the ambitious governors just might cross paths with one of most profligate GOP donors in the country - a man whose financial support has almost singlehandedly powered a major presidential campaign.

That man, casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, is hosting the RJC meeting this weekend at his Venetian resort on the Las Vegas strip."

Sheldon Adelson the casino magnate and, according to Forbes, the eighth richest man in the world,

"Adelson did not speak at the event, but it's a sure bet he appreciated what he heard.
Naturally, the potential candidates aren't exactly racing to promote the idea that they're kissing the ring of an influential billionaire in preparation for a presidential bid. They've emphasized more selfless, immediate concerns in explaining their trip."

No, the Republicans have kept this event low key as possible.

"Billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson hosted a meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition this weekend, and Republican presidential hopefuls flocked."
"Mr. Bush addressed the coalition's senior members privately."
THAT WOULD BE REPUBLICAN JEB BUSH.
To be fair I must state that Rand Paul did NOT show up at the Republican Jewish Coalition this weekend and that takes him out of the #1 spot and out of the running. Unless of course he is shy and does his rear end kissing in secret.

Perhaps the same will be said this fall about the demo socialists in America.......looking good for repubs taking over the senate.........and use Reid's tactic of bending senate rules to get a lot of legislation passed..........

"Ruling Socialists heading for drubbing in France"

"The ruling Socialist party, reeling from Hollande's record-low approval ratings and a string of embarrassing scandals, is bracing for a rout that pollsters estimate could see the opposition UMP party take back control of around 100 city halls."

and he's not very well liked anymore in any country since he hung out his underwear for the world to see..........

"A new poll gives President Obama record low approval on foreign policy – 40 percent – with a majority of respondents saying they are unimpressed with his handling of the Ukraine crisis.

At the same time, President Vladimir Putin’s approval rating in an independent Russian poll has reached 80 percent, a grade that would provoke envy in any Western capital.

The new Associated Press-GfK poll gave Obama an overall approval rating of 41 percent and disapproval rating of 59 percent – the highest disapproval the poll has measured for the president in recent years.

The poll found declining approval rates in several areas, including Obama’s handling of the economy (39 percent approval), immigration (38 percent) and education (44 percent).

But approval of Obama’s handling of “relationships with other countries” has dropped the most sharply since the last poll in January, from 49 to 40 points. Over that same period the disapproval rating for his handling of foreign policy has risen by 10 points, to 58 percent."

Heck..........I would have thought she would get the award for "worst botoxed woman of the decade"..........or the award for "freezed fried brain" of the year..........but then she would have to beat out Reid, Kerry, and Obama himself..........

"Planned Parenthood on Thursday will give House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) its Margaret Sanger Award, named for a woman who advocated eugenics and who described some children as "human weeds," while arguing that to grow a "beautiful garden of children," you "have got to fight weeds."

It has nothing to do with being or not being an "anti-Semite"(Jewish Whine #1). What it does have to do with is UNITED STATES REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES being bought and paid for by Sheldon Adelson and the Republican Jewish Coalition. If this RJC was a coalition of labor unions then Republicans and their mouth piece Faux news would be sneaking around in Lost Wages shadows hoping to catch a Democrat candidate speaking the the labor coalition.
But for the Republicans this Lost Wages event is kept relatively quiet and below the radar. If anyone mentions it then the nuts such as yourself want to holler "anti-Semite".
Telling truth is NOT "anti-Semite". But hey, you took your best shot and only defense.
1. You're a copy cat. ROTFL
2. LIberal Whine #6. FOX News.
3. You are bitter because you THOUGHT you bought off Obama and he put the screws to you. You have no one to blame but your GULLIBLE selves. You GOT what you deserved. YOU pointing the finger at others in regard to this is laughable. You just don't get it, do you? We ALL are aware of the sorry liberal double standard. IN YOUR FACES.
4. You ARE an anti-Semite. There is no denying it now.

THERE YOU GO, I was responding to a post back on page 1923 when I posted how Republicans would respond to a union coalition and had not even read your post above when I wrote my post above.
As to worry, everyone should be worried since Israel, as always, would hope to use their influence to start yet another war. Worried? What good did it do for Republicans that Sheldon Adelson poured millions into Romoney's campaign.
It's not "worried" but exposing Republicans who line up to stand before the auctioneer, up for bid. A shameful display in which Republican candidates have no shame.
You are positively DELUSIONAL. Are you stating that Obama didn't go to the highest bidder? Heck! You union hacks poured millions into his campaign, but that's fine, right? Seriously?????? Again, THAT is why liberals get NO RESPECT anymore. Your double standard has gone from being amusing to a serious mental illness.
As far as your prediction in regard to Israel, THAT remains to be seen. That is liberal projection, as usual. We ALL know what fear mongers liberals are.

Sometimes I think that Bush was just a made-up deal because no one can be that stupid. Maybe he is an alien sent from a oxygen-free planet.

"So I analyzed that and decided I didn't want to be the president during a depression greater than the Great Depression, or the beginning of a depression greater than the Great Depression." --George W. Bush, Washington D.C., Dec. 18, 2008 (BUT HE WAS AND HE CAUSED IT)

"People say, well, do you ever hear any other voices other than, like, a few people? Of course I do." --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Dec. 18, 2008

I was NEVER for the ACA because that system left insurance companies intact. My ideal revamp of our healthcare was to make healthcare available to all without insurance companies, period.
That was not possible in the US because insurance companies were already entrenched.
PRESIDENT Obama took the only route available to him. That was to get healthcare INSURANCE to all.
Therefore I applaud any efforts that PRESIDENT Obama made which, no matter how bad, are better than any efforts by Republicans to get healthcare to all Americans. Republican efforts rate a big fat 0, ZERO.

Healthcare to all is different than healthcare INSURANCE to all.

Healthcare without insurance: "You are sick. We will fix you and make you better.

Healthcare with insurance: "So you are sick, so what?", "That's not covered.", "The policy excludes that procedure.", "We will not pay that because we are Christian."
