To say the REAL unemployment rate is 13 is a damnable lie. The REAL unemployment rate is 6.6. Period.
But ONLY using the 6.6% figure amounts to a lie by omission. When the economy and the job market is in the state it is in, one should want to give a clearer picture of reality. When the labor participation rate is the lowest in 35 years - that is worth noting - NOT a lie.

Yes and No.
Let's say that one quotes a consensus of published climatologists from every nation in the world and they all agree that anthropomorphic climate change is a real event.
The statement "anthropomorphic climate change is real and valid" would be a legitimate fact.
Let's say one quotes a report released by a bogus agency with shadowy funding sources, headed by Oil Scientists, who work out of their garage, who released a report so deceiving that the National Academy of Science issued a warning about it, and 99.5 percent of the scientists ratifiying it have no claims to specialty in field of climate studies, says "anthropomorphic climate change is not real".
Only 1 of the 2 statements can be a fact. The can't both be.
Anthropomorphic Climate Change is real.
OR
Anthropomorphic Climate Change is not real.
The FACT is from the authoritative and respected scientific community. To say quote the conclusions of he second second one is NOT stating a fact. It's just spreading lies, spin, and propaganda funded by Big Pollution.
And let's say one of those studies LEAVES OUT (another lie by omission) critical data in order to make the data "say" what they want it to say - you know, kind of like the IPCC leaving out the Medieval Warming Period so that they could get the picture they wanted from their graph - you know, that cute little "hockey stick."

But apparently they realized they can't get away with it anymore and left it out of the 2007 report.

There is that 97.5% the dummy keeps throwing out..........that 97.5% is based on published articles, not the number of climate scientists opposed..........with a funny procedure to get to the 97.5%.........

But the dummy chicken dont know that..........hes only repeating the standard IPCC line.........."we lie by jiggering the numbers, you're supposed to believe those numbers"..........

"The Anderegg et al 2010 source defined a scientist's expertise as determined by his or her number of climate publications."
And most all those publications were by those scientists promoting global warming through the AR4 Working Group 1..........

So the IPCC took 200 published papers(produced BY their own supporters).........and says they produced 195 of the published papers..........then attributed 5 published papers to scientists who do not support global warming..........

using published reports(and laying claim that reports equal expertise) as opposed to actual scientists..........the IPCC comes up with

"97.5% agree that human activity "is a significant contributing factor" in temperature change. The study concludes the distribution of answers to those survey questions implies that debate on the "role played by human activity is largely nonexistent" amongst climate experts."

now any other situation..........and folks would scream bloody murder and hypocrisy.......but not me..........I just say they are a bunch of lying devils out to foster a huge scam upon the world..........

Figure 1 above..........

"Surface temperatures in the Sargasso Sea, a 2 million square mile region of the Atlantic Ocean, with time resolution of 50 to 100 years and ending in 1975, as determined by isotope ratios of marine organism remains in sediment at the bottom of the sea (3). The horizontal line is the average temperature for this 3,000-year period. The Little Ice Age and Medieval Climate Optimum were naturally occurring, extended intervals of climate departures from the mean. A value of 0.25 °C, which is the change in Sargasso Sea temperature between 1975 and 2006, has been added to the 1975 data in order to provide a 2006 temperature value."

chart above..........

"Arctic surface air temperature compared with total solar irradiance as measured by sunspot cycle amplitude, sunspot cycle length, solar equatorial rotation rate, fraction of penumbral spots, and decay rate of the 11-year sunspot cycle (8,9). Solar irradiance correlates well with Arctic temperature, while hydrocarbon use (7) does not correlate."

A CONSERVATIVE is someone who just wants you to think.

Difference between Liberals and Conservatives…

Liberals think we should be equal at the finish line.

Conservatives think we should be equal at the starting line.

Moore argued that the current argument that the burning of fossil fuels is driving global warming over the past century lacks scientific evidence."

I really kept thinking her article HAD to be a joke intended to provoke response - surely no one could be that naive - then I read the article linked below. She is your stereotypic child of privilege who thinks she knows better than everyone else how everyone should live and wants to make sure they HAVE to - no room for difference of opinion, no room for the recognition that at 22? she has a LOT of learning to do about the real world.
Her parents actually ALLOWED her to major in the history of science (NOT science, the HISTORY of science) and women, gender and sexuality studies - WHAT is she going to do with those worthless pieces of paper but put them to use in case of a toilet paper shortage. My husband and I told our kids that we considered it our obligation to pay for their college educations UNLESS they chose some worthless course of study like women's studies, etc. in which case they were on their own. Great, she got a degree in anti-knowledge - her parents must be so proud.

I guess I was just so stunned at the thought control she actually thinks should be instituted. And in another case of irony, she doesn't realize that the pin headed academics that she is on the road to becoming are usually among the first targets once the totalitarian system she is unknowingly advocating gain power.
