Why should the employer, or medicaid, have to provide coverage for those whose individual choices increase risk?

Except that there is that pesky little 1st Amendment.
..........

And the part that says "congress shall make no law..." is then rendered moot because you say it is?
Tell us how a corporation worships, do the Directors express their religious beliefs through the actions of a corporation, if so then we're back at religious beliefs that run contrary to employment law.

Do religious beliefs that discriminate based on gender, religion, race, or national origin trump laws against discrimination.

And once again, a faulty comparison. Those who consume alcohol (presuming no DUI activity), smoke or overeat affect only their own health. What cannot be denied by anyone is that a baby will result from a healthy pregnancy that goes to term.
It is your comprehension that appears faulty,

Increased risk equates to increased premiums,

Your just a blood sucker off other people.......
According to Forbes, there are 442 Billionaires in America. With a combined wealth of $1.873 Trillion dollars. This wealth comes from a cross spectrum of Individuals who have earned their money from American Enterprise. It includes inherited wealth, investments in stocks, bonds, treasuries, properties, businesses, minerals, etc. Anything of value is included……The yearly Federal budget is over $3 trillion each year……
In decimal form it looks like this:$1,873,000,000,000………
If all that wealth was divided up among the appox 50 million poverty folks in this country, each person would get $37,460…….and they would be broke again within a few months. And a huge portion of that wealth would leave the country within a short time; to China, Japan, European countries, and other countries of the world. Many of those dollars would go to drug lords over the world…..
And the American public would be in dire straits, as in order to get that money from the Billionaires, assets will need to be sold, redistributed, etc., so money could be given to the poor…..
Now the Libroids would have the gubmint take that money away and give to the poor.“Spread the Wealth” is their motto. Devastate the economy, kill the working folks, all to appease some sorry folks like Ugly Eve and other libroids, who feel it is their god-given right to take what they did NOT earn, and live good for a few months…..
Their argument falls on a false premise that what the haves do have, rightfully belongs to everyone…..and with such a sorry idea would basically destroy any economy, in any country…..
They are just too dam lazy to earn their own way, and demand a free ride upon the backs of others…..and use the term socialism as a method to implement their sorry economic platform……

Nobody I know wants to take wealth from anyone, just want them to pay the same percentage of tax on income as the middle class does. You think everyone on welfare is a lazy bum, far from the truth. Fact is a lot of people who are not doing well financially is the result of the rich people who you feel the need to protect, moving jobs from the U.S. to other countries, that has decimated the middle class. That more than anything else has killed the economy, NOT poor people on welfare, its a drop in the bucket of the nations budget. I also read Forbes, owned the Forbes family. Remember the one who made a failed attempt to run for President a few years ago.

Just for the heck of it why don't you post the link to back up this comment you made.

Never heard a person use the term socialism to implement anything. I have heard people like you use the term on a regular basis almost interchangeable with communism. Some even us the terms as if they were the same, not even understanding the many levels of so called socialism that exist and do quite well in other countries. I would also like for you to tell us who "they" are in that same comment, I already know who you mean, got the guts to say it.

Even General Lee wouldn't have allowed slaves to be treated the way some employers treat their employees hopefully we will elect a senator that will bring some labor law reform to what few labor laws we have so that the honest working man that's making their employers filthy rich can have a few rights.

Is God an abortionist?

Miscarriage is spontaneous abortion. Some believe that it is an act of God. If so then God is an abortionist. True of false?

If the libertarian conservatorium demoplican slave trading Governor's sister's uncle's mother's former supervisor was running the show in this country, things would be much better.

It would be a far cry from reading the narcissistic deluge that graces this forum each and every day. But, everyone here is right about everything, and everyone else is wrong. Toodles.

The right to come and go as you please.
The right to keep your children, rather than have them sold to another Master.
The right to a decent meal, and basic hygiene products
The right to regular checkups by a Doctor.
The right to quit and find another job.
The right to live in your own house, rather than a horse stable or worse.
The right not to get whipped constantly for "servile insurrection".
The right not to be hanged for attempted escape.

Ya know, things of that nature.

That is a matter unrelated to the question at hand. However, there are options where health insurance is not tied to employment.

The question remains, why should the employer, or medicaid have to pay for those that choose to increase risk?

Any obesity in your area, Cletus?

Among Mexican American women, 78 percent are overweight or obese, as compared to only 60.3 percent of the non-Hispanic White women.

Good. Stay up north, and stuff your face with pizza, bagels, and cheese steak sandwiches. We rather enjoy our artery clogging diets, and we don't have to deal with extreme cold and snow each year.
