Myth Busted: ObamaCare was designed to fail. No substance or logic to that Right-Wing-Whacko myth at all.
All you do on Topix is filibuster because YOU don't have anything. Why don't you tell us how successful Obamacare is being run so far? Go to your insipid, lying, left wing lunatic sites, lap up the propaganda and spew it to us and tell us it's indisputable. lol You are hilarious.

No. I clearly stated what I meant. I am through wasting my time on you freedom destroying socialists. I just can't believe you are so ignorant, you haven't figured that out. Why don't you just stand by. You'll see. I am TOTALLY confident. Remember that.
I asked you to explain your thought process behind your statement:

Synergy: "ObamaCare was designed to fail."

You haven't done it yet. All you've responded with was a fine display of histrionics.

I'll ask AGAIN: Refraining from judgmental and emotional language, please provide some facts and logic to explain your statement.

Could you please do that?

Your are correct when it comes to Southern States, but not the majority of the country. Southern Republicans knowing they are in trouble as minorities become majorities are using the power they NOW have to further their existence. Drawing up voting districts to insure their election, if they didn't they would lose. It can't and won't work long term, all they are doing is pissing off the minorities that are becoming majorities. A real dumb play destined for failure, but its the only way the people making the laws today can get elected today, and that's all they care about. Its also why on a national level Tea Party republicans are destined for extinction. And it can't happen soon enough, they are making a mockery of our democratic system.
The Tea Party cancer in the Republican Party is not "wealthy" voters. They are people who think we all owed something, their parents look at them and wonder how did this happen. That's one reason why Social Security and Medicare are like sacred cows, but health care for all is out of the question. They are looking for someone to BLAME for all their problems, most brought on by the spending habits of the baby boomer generation with easy cheap credit, buying more than they could afford. They also watched as Wall Street traders grew wealthy, thought they could do the same, putting their retirement in stock based plans, wrong! The Tea party is mostly a southern movement, people with marginal educations who have been hurt by the recessions caused by Republican rule ie, the Bush wars. These tea party folks are mostly good people, looking to place blame for their mistakes, one they refuse to take any credit for.
One thing I have not heard anyone mention is the paydown of the national debt, wonder why!?!?!?
For the first time since 2007 – before the recession – the US Treasury is planning to make a down payment on the federal debt. The budget deficit has been shrinking more than expected. Thanks to government spending cuts, and higher tax receipts The Treasury says it expects to pay off $35 billion of debt in the second quarter. That compares to an earlier forecast that it would have to borrow $103 billion. Usually this time of year is the best for government cash flow because annual tax returns flood into the Treasury in April. But the return to at least one quarter of debt paydown is a clear sign government spending cuts and tax increases have helped lower the deficit.
Possibly because Obama flipped on the whole sequestration thing?

If you want to tell a story tell the whole story, not just the parts that match your warped truths. You are a broken record, you make lots of noise, but never say anything.
You were lamenting the deaths of men, women and children caused by Bush. I simply asked you how many MORE had died since Obama had been in office. I guess those people don't count, right? You won't count the men, women and children who have died on Obama's watch because it doesn't fit into your liberal agenda. lol Okay.

When are you all going to start blaming Bush for the problems with Obamacare? If you already have, disregard the question.

The debt of the federal government, which is normally subject to a legal limit, jumped by $409 billion in the month of October, according to the U.S. Treasury. That equals approximately $3,567 for each household in the United States, and is the second-largest one month jump in the debt in the history of the country.

FYI Dummy, learn your history...

JEB left Lee without eyes, causing defeat at Gettysburg.
The man dilly-dallied before showing up, also did not follow Lee's orders. He claimed that he “misread” the order for him to stay near to Lee. JEB got his butt kicked at Brandy Station and was dilly-dallying at rest before catching up to Lee 2 days after the battle at Gettysburg commenced.

Stuart basically was the reason for the loss because he left Lee blind.

Lee was forced into battle at Gettysburg before he was ready, Longstreet with Lee's main force was miles away when the battle began. Lee and his army had no clue at the time of the Union's strength, due to JEB being AWOL, which Longstreet wanted to court-martial;...

I suppose the answer you are looking for is Bush. Okay. Did I just tell the whole story for you? I guess you think there are people out there in Topixland who aren't aware that Bush was president before Obama. I guess you think I posted that Obama invaded Iraq. Right? I guess you comprehended that I posted Obama STARTED the war in Afghanistan. Right? If so, would you please point that out? You know, since we are telling the whole story and all. Everything in my post is absolutely true. Did you look up the number of deaths since Obama took office for us?

Alright - let's examine this post for content, and translate from hyper-exited looney talk and see if we can actually pull anything useful from it.

Just a pointless insult in the above sentence, let's move on.
Synergy wrote:
<quoted text>
Are you telling me that my post is the FIRST TIME you have been informed about our country going to a single payer system????????
A vague reference to the fact that the country is going to a single-payer (medical?) system.

This might be worth talking about if it's real. What is the name of the bill that is being proposed? Who is it's author? Did it originate in the house or the Senate?

All useless questions, because no such bill exists. Again - dramatic language, no substance. Just RWW's getting exited about things that don't exist in the real-world.

Moving on.
Synergy wrote:

An inquisitive mind has questions! I am NOT kidding. I am unaware of a current bill that provide America with a single-payer health care system.
Synergy wrote:

I'm right here in the real-world. I read at least 7 or 8 diverse news sources a day, every day, often more.

One in particular that a read regularly is

https://www.govtrack.us/

where I can track various legislation.

I think the better question, since I'm living in the real-world, is what planet are YOU on?

Ah, a vague and nebulous threat of impending doom! Now we've got the whacko-language flowing!
Synergy wrote:
<quoted text>
What difference will it make anyway?
How the people in our country get medical care matters a great deal. People get sick, they'd like to get care. It's not a bad thing. It's something America should be able to (and can) pull off. The only REAL question at stake is who gets to profit off the sick people.
Synergy wrote:
<quoted text>

Again, how is that happening? What bill promotes this? Or is this just more excitable histrionics not rooted in fact? It is.
Synergy wrote:
<quoted text>
All of your dreams will be coming true.
Unfortunately, I'm NOT excited about it, because it isn't REAL. NOT REAL. NOT REAL. NOT REAL. NOT REAL. NOT REAL. NOT REAL. NOT REAL. Since it isn't happening, I'm not excited about it.
Synergy wrote:
<quoted text>
All of your dreams will be coming true.
The idea that we could let ALL of the people in the country have access to the same level of health care, regardless of who they are or what their financial status is? The idea that we remove those who financially prey on the sick and dying from the process and we simply help sick people get better?

That would be a dream come true.
----------

Post dissected, nothing there Synergy. And almost all of your posts are like that. Just loud excited emotional crap with not one shred of fact or logic, usually proclaiming things that aren't real.

I see. Using that SAME LOGIC - let's say you were standing at the top of a 1000-ft cliff. Bush runs up behind you and pushes you off. When you are 500-feet from the bottom, the presidency changes hands, and Obama is president.

Using that logic, you would say that the death of your splattered corpse would be Obama's fault, despite the fact that Bush pushed you off. Is that about right?
