Scoff and name call all you like, it still won't change the fact that humans have pumped, and continue to pump, co2 into the atmosphere. You don't think it matters, so what, convincing you has no impact on anything.
http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/co2/story/What+is+Oc...
When carbon dioxide (CO2) is absorbed by seawater, chemical reactions occur that reduce seawater pH, carbonate ion concentration, and saturation states of biologically important calcium carbonate minerals. These chemical reactions are termed "ocean acidification" or "OA" for short. Calcium carbonate minerals are the building blocks for the skeletons and shells of many marine organisms. In areas where most life now congregates in the ocean, the seawater is supersaturated with respect to calcium carbonate minerals. This means there are abundant building blocks for calcifying organisms to build their skeletons and shells. However, continued ocean acidification is causing many parts of the ocean to become undersaturated with these minerals, which is likely to affect the ability of some organisms to produce and maintain their shells.
Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, the pH of surface ocean waters has fallen by 0.1 pH units. Since the pH scale, like the Richter scale, is logarithmic, this change represents approximately a 30 percent increase in acidity. Future predictions indicate that the oceans will continue to absorb carbon dioxide and become even more acidic. Estimates of future carbon dioxide levels, based on business as usual emission scenarios, indicate that by the end of this century the surface waters of the ocean could be nearly 150 percent more acidic, resulting in a pH that the oceans havenít experienced for more than 20 million years.
I am sure that all that sulfuric acid that is spewing from those volcano's is really good for the acid level in the ocean.
Yes, I will continue to scoff and chuckle. BTW are you interested in the bridge I have for sale or not? LOL

We get Right Wing Wackos Bush, McCain, and Romney,

Right Wing Kerry and Obama.
To tell the truth I just can't figure you out. It seems that you are 1/2 Socialist. You're 1/8 conservative but only on certain times, and true Democrat 1/8 of the time. The other 1/4 of you is just nuts.

According to your Right Wing Wacko logic, because we only save 1/2 the people that used to die in crashes through automobile safety regulations, its useless to regulated automobile safety.

Let's follow Right Wing logic and start making infants' clothing out of highly flammable fabric, and deregulate the use of C-4 and TNT.

We agree on many important issues.

That means we are "normal".

Anyone that is 100% Right or Left Wing on all subjects just ain't thinking.

Life is complicated and nuanced, and the "middle of the road" is always to someone's far left or far right.

Besides, we gotta have something to argue about.

We are agreeing on the important stuff.

I think that's because Right Wing no longer means "Conservative".

True "conservatives" would want Bush and Obama both incarcerated awaiting trial on war crimes.

They'd despise what Reagan and Bush did exploding the deficits and tripling the debt.

They'd demand we cut the War Department budget in half and stop bankrupting America trying to be imperialistic war mongers around the world.

They'd demand we subsidize renewable energy sources and use, and tax the hell out of use of oil to make people use common sense.

But in today's wacko world, those very "conservative" positions are considered "left - wing."

Thank God for Macallan 18 and Arturo Fuente.

Your analogy of me is like me saying that you want to kill all humans on Earth because they are polluting the earth by breathing out co2. You really don't, do you?
BTW I personally don't think co2 as a pollutant. The trees and plants love it. We would have a pretty bare Earth without it.

The more Obama "implodes" the better I do.

- That 401K is sitting pretty;
- Those real estate values keep rising;
- Those tax cuts that benefit me and screw the average working guy keep saving me money;
- Those tax breaks on 2nd homes keep helping me enjoy my SW Florida home; and
- Business is great.

Hey... Even better, soon those Right Wing Freeloading Deadbeats may have to pay for their own medical care.

But I am conservative, and I do agree with only one of your statements. One that I totally disagree with is subsidizing renewable energy. If someone comes out with a brilliant idea of how to use a different form of energy than we use now, the market will pick it up and Wall St. will soon have it on the market. That is called competition and the strongest contender will win. When that day comes oil will be out of gas. It isn't up to the government to try and pick winners. Look what a miserable failure the government has been picking winners.

Another statement that I disagree with is about Reagan. Reagan did run up the debt but pulled the country out of a recession and made America great and powerful. He made Americans feel good about being an American. His economic plans gave Americans a better life. His ideas toppled the U.S.S.R. and gave the world a sense of Americas great leadership. He did much more good than harm.

I don't drink and I don't smoke. Perhaps you should lay off the whiskey for awhile. Just say'in

What are you going to do when there is a financial collapse? It is coming and may not be very far away.
If you want to keep living the great lifestyle, you had better write Obama and the Congress and tell them to cut spending. Hard thing to do especially with the implementation of Obamacare coming. I know you want both a great standard of living and Obamacare, but you can't have both. Decision time.
