It's a common thing to scatter golf balls or wax filled eggshells around a hen house. Discourages predators. Snakes, foxes, opossums etc. Also golf balls are sometimes used in a nest to stimulate laying and brooding in young hens.

Who knows? I would think it a common enough creature that heroic measures were a bit of a waste of resources.
Shrugs.
Cool about the gorilla tho. I hope the mom ape won't have trouble bonding with the baby born in that unnatural way.

Hi Lawrence. I'd like to think that humans and wolves are a little higher on the need to save scale than a common grass snake. As for a DNR, that is noyb.:)
