There was no equailty on their rules. It seemed that the petitioners whom had money or status in the community got their request granted, while the rest of us were denied due to their so called rules. Case in point, Harman Medical Supply gets approval to erect a metal sided pole barn, as well as part of Ewing Printing, but I can't. Where was the application for the metal sided building behind the Record Cellar? Same for behind Red's Pub. Mayor Baldwin was right to dismiss the entire board in my opinion. Please allow people do what they want to do to their properties, especially with the amount of taxes paid these days. If anything, just reduce the footprint of the District to encompass say Culberson to like Seventh street and Willow to maybe Hart. I don't see the need to make it any larger.
