Trust me, that thought crossed my mind since I know some things that you don't and some you have probably forgotten.

You people should put in a few years behind that badge, or any badge.
On the street, putting your life on the line every day of your life for people who cuss you, untill the need you.
As to Tony King, being a retired law enforcement officer myself, I can tell you that the man is ONE HELL OF A SHERIFF.
He does not spend his days sitting behind a desk "administrating", he gets on the street with his deputies, and works.
Benton County had better thank God for the Sheriff they have.
I seems like every time a person gets elected to the position of Sheriff, wherever it may be, and tries to do a good job, some bunch of idiots that no longer can get prefered treatment, because the Sheriif is a fair person, want to get him out of office so they can elect someone who will selectvely enforce the law. the law, is the law, and everyone should be subject to in in the same way. If the people of Benton County have any sense at all (that's in question" the will keep Tony King as Sheriff as long as he wants to serve.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll be watching. Yes it's time for a new sheriff. One who knows the law and what probable cause entails. Invading private property and upsetting honest tax paying citizens is not a sign of a good sheriff.

Tony Is doing a great job I see no reason not to give him 4 more years if he wants it.

The Deputy said Yes "I Guess". I guess would idicate there is some doubt in his mind if a strike was actually made. A man is innocent untill proven guilty.Holleran and alot of underage teens walked away from a big mess .No one put the boots to the man or beat the crap out of him. I'll bet Tony walks away from this. I rest my case I guess

The word guess commonly refers to a conjecture or estimation. To "guess" is to make a prediction without sufficient information or knowledge
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guess .
It was in the dark of the night alot stuff was going on a man's fate should not be decided on a guess. Put out your torches, put away your tar and your feathers. Nothing to see here .Just move along to the next witch hunt..

That would be Officer Hunch.

Last year he was awarded a medal for having a sneaky feeling that motorists were speeding on most state highways. That sneaky feeling lead to him taking a shot in the dark at the notion, and this reckoning estimated into a ballpark figure which became the cornerstone of his hypothesis on the possibility of speeding motorists.

Who was the Deputy being questioned under oath in the I-Team video News Report? There is only an audio and his voice is very clear but he was not named. Someplace it said this Deputy had a rank of LT. Is that true and what is his name if anyone knows?

Our sheriff is in office because he was voted in by the people. TWICE in fact. If the people of Benton County are that stupid to vote this idiot in again they get the sheriff they deserve. Going by the history of Benton County sheriffs elected in the past the people of Benton County are pretty dumb group of people. And I say that as a 20 year resident, so I know of what I speak.

Who else is there? Some time its better to stick with the poison you know instead of a poison you don't that would probably be worse.

Well I think people who had law enforcement experience would be better than guy whose previous job was tow truck driver. Just like every other elective office in Benton County. It not what you know but who you know. if you have a name or connection you can be dumber than a box of rocks and get elected to county commission or mayor or whatever. None of the people running our county would be qualified to run for dog catcher in a REAL city.

Tony King is the best Sheriff that we've had since Jerry Phifer and in turn, he has made his Deputies the best Deputies that I can ever remember us having!
That's why the Lawbreakers are trying so hard to get him out of Office!

It wasn't about what or who he know it was about who he was running against. He was running against the Crooked Sheriff, Robo Snappy, The Commissioner whose Mama tells him how to vote, a Crooked Ex Sheriff, Rambo and a Good Ole Hollowell Backed Bruceton Chief then yet another trooper for reelection. The choice was clear and he was the best person for the job.

Spoken like a police officer who wants to see Tony in trouble and voted out of office.

It wasn't who he knew? Who do you think paid for that huge billboard when he ran the first time? Keith Arnold was his money man. This is common knowledge. Yet you claim he didn't know anyone. Whatever.

Really? In case you forget, Jerry Phifer went to prison. And he was only busted on one of many things that he was involved in.

I'm not comparing Tony to Jerry. I think Tony is a better sheriff than Jerry was. Just saying your stupidity once again shines through if you think Jerry was a good sheriff. How could you think...oh wait, Phifer was a Democrat. Silly me...I forgot the stupid woman is all about party instead of the man.

No, you're the stupid one. I didn't remember what Party Ticket he ran on. I did know that he went to Prison, but I also know that if you broke the Law, he always got you. I remember him being called the "Buford Pusser of Benton County". I wasn't here during most of his Term, but I was here at the beginning. If I remember correctly , he went to Prison after he wasn't Sheriff anymore and it had nothing to do with him being Sheriff. He was also available 24/7 and Tony is the only Sheriff we've had since Jerry, that is also available 24/7.
