Now Steve, I don't begrudge you the right to make your money from selling the most basic necessity of human existence-- food, for a profit. It is a Nobel profession, scalping the poor and hungry for bread. But since you claim to be an altruist at heart why don't you give back to the poor and needy who can't afford to buy the overpriced bourgeois sandwiches from your elitist deli? You could institute "Free Sammich Friday" and everyone under, say $89,000.00 per year income (the same amount the Dems wanted to expand the CHIPS plan to cover) could come into your deli and eat for free. But you couldn't require I.D. or any proof of income because that would discourage undocumented workers from taking advantage of the program for fear of deportation. Also, many who would love to share your bounty have no transportation, so if you TRULY cared about the poor and homeless you should buy a catering truck to take the food to them. Steves deli, you would think that it would remain open on saturdays or sundays, why not? Poor service hours if you ask me. Why dont you have a gospel brunch on sunday? Or better yet, you should have an all you can eat sunday dinner! That way you could rub elbows with all of the good christian people from brownwood that you so eagerly admire, or is it that you are afraid one of our god fearing christian brothers is so demented and radical that he would burn down your kraphole deli. Steve, you should have a special "Boston Butt Roast Sandwich" deal sometime really soon. The sky is the limit on this one. You could get several Boston Butt Roast and slice them up and serve them to all of your most special friends, after all, what friend of yours wouldn't come over for a piece of butt.
