White House boasts: We 'control' news media
Communications chief offers shocking confession to foreign government

TEL AVIV – President Obama's presidential campaign focused on "making" the news media cover certain issues while rarely communicating anything to the press unless it was "controlled," White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference.

"Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," said Dunn.

Obama to seek SBA loan program expansion
Phoenix Business Journal - by Lynn Ducey

The nation’s small business lending program could be expanded as a result of an announcement Wednesday by President Barack Obama.

Touting the importance of small business and the need for the nation’s economy to continue to expand, Obama said his administration will ask Congress to approve higher lending capabilities of the Small Business Administration.

Obama called for the expansion of the SBA 7(a) loan program from a cap of $2 million to $5 million; increasing the 504 loan program from $2 million to $5 million for standard borrowers and from $4 million to $5.5 million for commercial borrowers and to increase the cap of the microloan business program from $35,000 to $50,000.

A range of different SBA loan products are aimed at helping business acquire capital (such as a building), purchase equipment and pay for overhead and help startups get off the ground.

“These steps, coupled with SBA’s ongoing efforts, will help small businesses grown and create jobs throughout America,” said SBA Administrator Karen Mills in a statement.

Locally, Deputy District Director Bruce Hodgman of the Arizona SBA applauded the move.

“In my opinion, this is really great news,” Hodgman said.

Democracy is all about who does the counting. Republicans, of all people, should know that.

Stephen Spoonamore ring a bell Hez ? I've noticed the local CONservative Republicans avoid this topic like the plague !

"This guy is a member of the GOP and a life long republican but he cares more about Democracy than winning at any cost. He worked on the Gulliani and Bloomberg campaigns. His expertise is in electronic tabulation machines - like ATM's and audits them for banks. Watch this video interview in 8 parts."

We wouldn't need voting machines if the ignorant masses on the left could read a ballot and could either punch a hole in a ballot or could blacken in a dot nect to the name of the person they liked. I'm sure you remember them crying about how hard it was to understand the ballots. When it comes to actual voter fraud the right has a lot to learn from the left, so much so thats pretty funny to hear liberals whin about the topic.

Yeah right, like we really want to watch a long long video in 8 parts!
Steve, are you not embarrassed to take things so grossly out of context? You make it sound like Spoonamore is encouraging vote fraud when in fact, he's educating the public on how insecure any form of electronic voting is. The only one stupid enough to fall for your angle is gigglebutt.

I can understand why a BuShland CONservative such as yourself would not want to watch a long video on this subject. Maybe you're more a FOX/KXYL soundbite kind of CONservative who also denies all of the Stimulus dollars flowing around the CONservative Brownwood area !

Here's more on Spoonamore for you all !

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Taurus

If your goals are fairly modest in the short term, they are achievable and you're likely to get some praise for achievements along the way. If you aim too high too quickly, others might not take you seriously or think you're being uppity and you could come unstuck. It's all a question of attitude and approach. There are contradictory influences over the next ten days but there could also be good luck coming your way.
