Baby thrown off bridge

A woman threw her 14-month-old daughter over the railing of the Victory Bridge yesterday morning, sending the girl into the Raritan River and to her death more than 100 feet below.

Kelly I read your comment and i agree the act is unforgivable but i believe she is sick. There is more to the story. Yes the child did nothing wrong but i believe her mother is sick. That doent make it right. Let god judge her. That is the person she has to answer to. I believe the baby is in a much better place.

Well i think that she was obviously not in her right mind, i mean to throw an innocent child over a bridge because you're havin problems with your boyfriend? that's just sick.I don't understand people these days why hurt your child because your angry at your partner? The child has nothin to do with your problems. When i found out about this it killed me inside i mean 1 because an innocent child was killed 2 now i look at the bridge with hurt and sadness that happened not even a minute from my house i see the bridge from my porch and i HATE IT...I don't know but people these days need help they're just crazy i HATE people like that. But thank God the baby's away from her and resting in peace God's takin care of her now as for her mother i hope she gets what she deserves LIFE IN JAIL.

Come on guys! She is not sick! She is a selfish individual who thought about nothing but herself. She tried to get back at her boyfriend and used an innocent child.....HER CHILD!! There is no reason why she should be alive. She should be put down like they do to wild animals that roam the streets and are a danger to society. Life in jail is not what she deserves. She deserves to be thrown off a building and suffer exactly the way her child suffered. If she could do this to her own child, just imagine waht she can do to YOURS! Imagine the look in that 14 month old eyes as her killer "mother" threw her over the bridge. We continue to show too much sympathy to the killer and not enough action. Yes sympathy! "She is sick"..."there is more to it then we know"... as so forth. If we show more action, I guarantee you would see less of these selfish acts for attention.

"Mom" is a very serious word followed by lot's of responsibilities, love, affection e.t.c.
Shes not a mother but a monster who took away the precious life of a little angel.
I hope she spends the rest of her ugly life in prison and maybe there God will help her come to her senses and realize τhat she commited the worse crime a person could.
SHE KILLED HER CHILD, i surely hope that this will haunt her for as long as she lives.

I agree with all of you wholeheartedly. It's crazy how some people can use the 'crazy' or 'insane' plea when they do something atrocious, just to get off. I just hope that the system can see past her fascade and see the real her. The one who used her child and killed it. True story: my father left my mother all of her children at a shelter. Claiming he was going to 'get food' he never made his way back. Life for us was hard. There was times we didnt have water, electric, heat, gas anything. But we made it...together. My mother didn't use her misfortune as an excuse to 'rid' herself of her children. THat's what this woman did. She 'ridded' herself of her children. Her children. She isn't sick or insane, she's unbiased and very selfish. I heard this girl was in UMDNJ mental facility for 8 months two years ago. She went insane and tried to stab her neighbor in her house. Then she ran outside and grabbed the neighbors dog and threw it into the street where it died. She went crazy and was committed. I dont see how she couldnt have done this act SOONER. FOr you who think she's 'insane'...you're right because you're rationalizing what she's done and that's very fair.
