3 arrested on stem cell charges
The FBI said Wednesday it arrested three men for their alleged roles in an operation that made stem cells and sold them to sick people without federal approval.

IMO the best thing for stem cell research would be if every layperson would get to nominate doctors who have been the most humane to them.(As a microcosmic precedent, years ago, my local paper had listed the Top 10 doctors in the County, based on votes from their readership.)
Then whichever doctors accrue the most nominations within their states, and who falls within a reasonable age-range, should further be voted on by the public, after running public campaigns re: their modus operandi.
Until it's narrowed down to say, 10 doctors from each U.S. state, making a total of approx. 520 doctors who should replace the unscrupulous FDA.
