Man that didnt take long for that post to get deleted! Sad when ya cant complete a job without politics being involved! Whatever happened to the good ol days when a mans word was his bond and making a community stronger was more important than covering up wrongdoings with politics?

Chief Lea needs to remember that this is a small town. Just because he is the chief...he is still in Brownsville. He, like many of his rookie officers, is on a major power trip. On many occasions, he has shown that he cannot handle himself in a professional manner. He has broken the law himself and harassed local residents. Being the chief does not give one the right to ignore the rules or to make laws on the spot. He has forgotten that the judicial system is set up to protect the people. Law enforcement officers under his command, as well as Lea himself, acts as judge and jury. There are a few good officers here, but most are young and ignorant. Power is misused and abused. It is a shame that good people like Lea and Nancy Cates allow themselves to be ruined by their positions. Just another example of Brownsville politics and our class system.

i posted the tantrum he did that was witnessed by nine people. he supported a two faced carlyn flagg that back stabbed the employees and one of the board menbers. he forgot to take time and see what was really going on. he should have talked to employees and he probably would have found out nancy cates abused county funds and employees. he is the top cop is he not

Sounds like to me that both of these threads were started and commented on by the string of bad cops that were fired for major screw ups and/or the parks & rec employees who have been sleeping on the job or hiding at work, etc.

If you were Lea or Cates, you would sure pray that it was a "string of bad cops" or other "bad employees"! Of course the phrase, "stream of bad cops" is an oxymoron and the community is not as stupid as one might think. I have never been a cop, nor a parks and rec employee. I have seen both official lose their cool in public and ABUSE their position. It is well known. Blame it on disgruntled employees all you like, most of us know the truth!

Exactly what is the real truth at Parks & Rec. when the person in charge says don't do something just who are they speaking to? a certain group of people or the entire department. and who has to abide by the rules a certain group of people or the enitre department. Sounds to me that you are D...ed if you do and D...ed if you don't. As the motto goes "You do have a choice".(FREEDOM, FREEDOM)You are not being MADE to work there.
