That's sad. I've got generations of family at that cemetery.

Did you know the orginal road into Brownsville followed the watershed next to Dunlap's Creek?. It came out of the mountains along the valley next to US40.
It came thru Republic and Merrittstown. It was called Dunlap's Path. Little information can be found inre the course or the dates but it dated back to the same period as Burd's Road in 1759.
It came thru the center of what would become The Redstone Cemetery in the late 1800s,(1877?)
At the highest point in Redstone Cemetery, a later road over-laid the original Dunlap's Path coming up Front Street from Fort Burd in 1784.
The new road diverged from Dunlap's Path at the highest point in Redstone Cemetery and went to Uniontown. The entrance to Redstone Cemetery today is on top of that 1784 road.
In 1819 the National Pike struck a new course that isolated the cemetery. It is likely, the area was a cemetery before it became The Redstone Cemetery a burial ground for the Cumberland Presbyterians.
I have 4 great grand parents buried in Redstone. See photos.
