After swimming at the beach in West Brownsville in 1947, I would cross the bridge and down the steps to Fiddles for a hot dog with catsup and relish. The Steel steps are gone now.

There was nothing like going to Fiddles after a high school football game. Everyone carved their initials in the booths at Fiddles. I graduated in 1967 and my husband in 1962. Haven't been back in a while but the last time (a few yrs ago) his initials were still there.
Coke had nothing over on Fiddles. Way back then Fiddles had cherry cokes. Fiddles is part of Brownsville.

I have shared info about "Fiddle" and it isn't
posted ... what's up with that ?
Please note: I do not act as "the authority"
on every subject listed here nor do I select-
ively attend ... ignoring others as I have
been ignored when making an inquiry.
Again, what's up with that ?
