this crime was really bad. just to think that if it wasnt for that kid trying to save his own ass;this murder might now of been solved. he was only 14;had a bad life already. switched between relatives constantly since he had been a child&&obviously didnt have too good of friends. i just saw his case on "the first 48" and i guess that they will never know what really happened to him. quintin told them a different story from what the other two told detectives, and he is the only one who knows what REALLY happened in that room. i just turned 16 myself and cant see myself playing with a gun&&definetly not disposing of my "friends" dead body. this case hit me harder than the rest i have seen. i give my respects to Rods family&&friends and i hope that the truth unravels some day. [A Sad Story]

Nothing I've ever seen hit me as hard as this-this was just a little boy. The fault doesn't lie with the parents alone, it's the shame of poverty here in our country. It's a fact, that kids without hope for something better get into trouble much more often than kids who grow up wanting for nothing. Drugs and guns are the tools that this country has used for decades to help our black kids (not to mention other minorities)destroy themselves and one another. If you can do nothing else, be just an ounce of prevention in the gallon of disease that is poverty and hopelessness-find a kid to mentor. Be an example for them, you have something to offer:hope.Volunteer to clean up your community, or one near you that needs it.

Well I'm a 14 year old too I was watching this case on the first 48 and I was like omg this can happen to any one these days when I saw this story I was like nearly crying and I didn't even know the boy imagine some one you have known and grown up with some you called a friend atempting to murder you and paying you no respect by stuffing you in a community green trash can I believe quition should be sentence with life or even deaft penatly he deserve to suffer like rod did.
