And people wonder why drug prices are so extreme. Wonder just how much the major drug companies have to spend each year to protect themselves from this kind of crap. Next time you gripe about the cost of your meds thank all the lawyers who are getting rich by doing this. No wonder American products have a problem competing in the World Market, all the legal entanglements they have to confront.

Good point. This problem might not be as extensive as, say, a few decades ago????? In fact it seems now that Big Business is firmly ensconced in the saddle and fed most of the oats. Is Lilly an Open Shop???
Seems like the Labor-Management conflict is like a pendulum, back and forth. First one has the upper hand, then the other.
Have to say that the abuses by management back in the 1920s and 30s gave rise to the union movements, which eventually became too powerful and corrupt.

Please elaborate! Are we talking plastics or drugs? Very familiar with the garbage China is sending over here. Maybe a method in their madness. Their political ideology and ours is vastly different.

WHOA It's Lilly's OWN FAULT they have LIED over & over

I have sent 5 certified letters to Eli Lilly operatives including their Pepper and Hamilton law firm as far back as 2.5 years ago, asking to be included in their 'promised'$1.2 billion settlement.

I signed releases for them to contact my Doctor for my medical records,at my last Doctor's visit he informed me that he has never been contacted,(going on two years now).
That's right Lilly has something like 250 lawyers and they don't even try to contest my claim? I have made thousands of pages denouncing their Zyprexa.

http://www.google.com/search...
This is disappointing to learn that they are stonewalling my case,I repeat they have NOT even contacted my doctor!

Seems funny that anytime there us a lawsuit of this magnitude there are persons coming out of the woodwork, all wanting a piece of it. Naturally all proclaim that "It's NOT THE MONEY but the principle". Yeah, Right. It's called GREED, something for nothing, and it's as American as apple pie, mother's cooking and the flag.
Those same persons will bellyache when a company is forced to raise the price of it's product or cease research on something worthwhile. If some of the major drug manufacturers have to suspend research on a drug that might help someone because of low profits due to legal expenses, that easy money might not be quite as attractive.

If we don't get loser pays we will be seeing more and more businesses that have any type of potential liability associated with their business
move out of this country to anywhere that will promise them protection from these predator lawyers. The democrats won't do it, for sure, and the republicans haven't done it, so I'm afraid it's bye bye economic base soon. What then, all you big business haters?

You got it! Eli Lilly has 250 "predator lawyers of their very own" who are sandbagging my claim.
BTW I do NOT have a lawyer YET I'am a pure righteous victim of their Zyprexa scam.
