Dayum! This is just ridiculous! Thank God she didn't resist or God knows what they would have done to her. They didn't need to stab her to begin with. First the robbery in FF the other night where the suspect shot after he robbed them, not this poor woman is stabbed, also AFTER being robbed. Someone needs to sit the new flock of hoodies down and teach them a thing or two.
I noticed a woman walking her dog this morning, and she was carrying a metal pipe, about 5 or feet long. I assumed it was to fight off any animals, and I was specifically thinking dogs, but after reading this, she may need it to fight off the human animals!

"The victim and witnesses in the neighborhood described one robber as light-skinned black or mixed race, in his late teens, 6 feet tall with a thin build. The second robber was described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build. Both wore black pants and black, hooded sweatshirts pulled up over their heads."

Doggone those %^&*($#)@ Anglo-Saxons! Thieving, murderous thugs, every danged one! Two males on one woman – how brave!

Think I'll move my family out of Vacaville to a safer place like East Oakland, The Richmond, East Los Angeles or the South Bronx.

There are way too many distractions to public safety here in Vacaville including an excessive number of donut shops.(How come there's no cop bars here?)

Take up your arms Browns Valley residents. Let's keep these degenerate thugs out of our neighborhood! Wish I could have witnessed that. Would have been the last time those thugs set foot in our neighborhood.

Maybe it's time to ban hooded sweatshirts, or at least, require a background check and a 15-day wait before allowing them to be purchased.

I'll say it again, Where are our concelled carry permits? You don't here about this kind of stuff going on in areas where the law abiding citizens are allowed to carry.

The idea of carring a pipe may look good on the outside but in reality if you are dealing with more than one punk at a time the odds are that they will take it away from you and beat you with your own pipe.

It's gotten to the point where it's just ridiculous around here. You'd think this was East Oakland or Richmond. Every day we read about a couple of armed robberies occurring the night before (or in the case of the Repeater, four nights before) and it's obvious the police departments can't do much to prevent these types of crimes. Meanwhile, the hoody rats are getting more and more bold and they're starting to pull this crap during the daytime now, as well. People should have the right to protect themselves by any means necessary, in my opinion.

In reviewing the neighborhood referenced in the story, the alleged perpetrators were in the Browns Valley area, very close to the freeway. There are no donut shops in that area which should be a warning to anybody walking around in broad daylight.

For a much greater POlice protected environment, living near a donut shop is preferable.

Too bad that we live in a society where pizza gets to your house faster than the police do.

I totally agree with you Bob. I even thought of that when I saw her with the pipe. It may or may not deter a dog, but it's not going to work on a person. I often see people carrying sticks of some kind when walking, and I just assume it's to fend off dogs.
Well our lovely SS police chief thinks CCW would cause more harm than good. He thinks his workers are sufficient to protect us from all the hoodies and sickos in the world. I don't agree, but, it is what it is.

Sad situation. Wasn't in a bad area.

Hope they catch them, probably looking at the better side of 20 years if they do.

Emjoe, I didn't realize we grew up in the same area! How are you doing neighbor? People where I grew up still don't lock their doors to their homes or their cars. No murders, no rapes, no kidnappings, very rural. Oh wait, Warren Jeffs did take young girls there to marry them off to nasty old men, and there was the boy that "tried" to assasinate Obama in Colorade when he was running for president, but besides that, a very safe peaceful community.

Our towns sound alike. I grew up in a small coastal town (pop. 8,000) in South Eastern Connecticut, where violent crimes are about as rare as Haley's Comet. I try to go back every few years. It's so peaceful and relaxing there, and you're right...we still don't lock our doors or cars.

When we were kids, we would play "cops & robbers".
Today's generation of rug rats play "cops & donuts".
