The City of Hurley is getting ridiculous, I know 4 people that were issued tickets on 10-13-07 the evening of Jamey Mays trail ride, for riding there horses in the city. This is a joke, I can remember going on night trail rides in Hurley.Talk about a Constitutional right violation.

Hurley should be glad some one is riding someting in the city limits."CITY' lol..last time i was thru there you could drive a heard of cattle and not interfer with anyone or any thing. hurley, settle down and let hurley be Hurley, A one horse town...well, maybe thats why they got the ticket, there were two...lololol

Hurley is a wonderful little town.People always say hello,and have a smile for anyone.We may be small but we make up for it with personality...

There are alot of newly enforced laws that noone agrees with but what can you say it's 2008..The hole world is changing..for the better they say!!!!

Hurley is a wonderful little town.Not quite as busseling(ihope i spelled that correct)as it used to be.Alot of the dairy farmers are gone,because of LOW milk prices and high feed&fuel prices.But it is still a farming community,and the world is growing all around,so Hurley is trying to keep up with(PROGRESS),and for alot of people it REALLY STINKS.But what can anyone really do abuot it????

Why don't the citizens of Hurley go to city council meetings and have the elected officials change the city ordinances? If the citizens are truly against certain laws, this seems very easy. Majority rules and don't re-elect the ones who don't do what the voters wanted them to do when they were elected in the first place.
Would an Amish man be ticketed for riding a horse? Probably not, so why a baptist man?

Do you know fly on the wall if they are going to hire another officer. I am looking for a place to work partime at. I am fulltime in a large county right now, just looking for a place to work partime to play in the patrol car alittle, since I only investigate things here. Let me know who I should talk to place.
