Lafayette's Safe Speed Van is driving people away from our city with these stupid van's....cameras every where...bring back our freedom,you wanta give me a ticket,do it like the America's would do it!!!!

The communist cameras caught me speeding by 9 mpg,got my ticket in the mail,(like they do it in communist countries)...yep,paid it cash..but...as
this comment is witness,my support of Lafayette's economy is totally over,I place an easy $3000 into this economy(per month)...this is now over Mr Tony...give us back our old America,where police men gave us a ticket!!

Whats next,cameras in public bathrooms???

The camera's are a scam to fleece the public of the money that they couldn't get when Lafayette voted down Durels road tax. That tax might have passed if Mr. Durel would say it was only for roads but he refused. General Fund. Well we all know where that ends up. Actually we don't do we? The camera's have nothing to do with safety, it's all about money.

Has anyone heard how the suit Stephanie Ware and others filed is coming?

I also heard Rep. Troy Hebert introduced a bill that would make it illegal to photograph anything
but the license plates of the alledged violators.
Does anyone know the status of this bill?

And, lastly, it is my understanding that only licensed private investigators can photograph people and the State Board of Private Investigators said the same thing. Have they done anything to stop this invasion of privacy?

I haven't found the answers to these questions.

I heard today on KVOL (Stephanie Ware's show) that Redflex had a notary in Arizona that was notarizing the tickets over a six or seven month period. The only problem was that she couldn't be in Arizona and Louisiana on the same day, at the same time. The Arizona Attorney General's office investigated her, and REVOKED her Notary license. Now, since tens of thousands of tickets may have been illegally notarized by this notary, there is a chance (and I would think a good chance) that Redflex and LCG may have to reimburse everyone that got these tickets. Just think of the paperwork involved. They would not have time to process any more tickets. This is a good way to end this extortion for once and for all. KVOL is the Voice of Lafayette. Anything the citizens can do to help KVOL and Stephanie would be great.
Durel, Trammel, Buckles, Redflex all need to be booted out of Lafayette for once and for all.

P.S. Another thing I heard today was the Dog Pound is apparently mistreating animals. Durel is the head man at LCG. He used to own a pet shop.

I'm not exactly sure how someone can get on the air and tell lies about different topics. Oh wait, I am assuming it would be due to the fact that there is no one to justify what the truth is and what is b.s. We all have a judgement day and a REAL woman is someone who is truthful and doesn't have to make up lies to get people to listen to her show or even lie to get people on her side. Maybe one day she will wake up from the self esteem booster of hers aka her show. I guess there are few woman who never grow up and set good examples for their kids.
