Driver in fatal crash sentenced to 24 years in prison

Raymundo Franco, who pleaded guilty to the 2005 death of a teenager in a traffic accident in Lafayette, has been sentenced to 24 years in prison. via KLFY-TV Lafayette

Raymond you are a freaking idiot and you are costing me a couple of thousand to get rid off!!!! I am in the military, in college, and soon to be a home owner and I can say you have done nothing but hold me down, nice husband i got myself, one that gets 24 yrs in prison and cant even figure out how to sign a damn divorce paper right!!!

Just think if a red light camera caught him. He would have received a modest fine for speeding. The more serious charges he would have gotten off.

he deserves to spend the rest of his miserable life in prison.....third dui, driving/owning a vehicle illegally, and forging through a red light at 90 mph. and he had the nerve say the victim ran the red light an all 18 witnesses were lying......yet, when he got out of his truck that night, he was so drunk that he thought he'd driven into a ditch. by the grace of God may he never sit behind a wheel again.
