The letter featured in this article highlights one of the many ways in which elderly patients can benefit from homeopathy. This man got the flu vaccine and immediately became very ill with pneumonia. Had he used a homeopathic--Influenzinum--he would have had a very good chance of avoiding regular and swine flu.

My 94 year-old mother has used it for the past six years and has not gotten the flu once. Before using Influ. she did contract the flu and was in bed with it for three or four days. I've used Influ. for 12 years and not gotten the flu. Prior to using it I contracted the flu so badly I was in bed for a week every other year.

The article states he was already sick when he saw the doctor. If he had recd the vaccinations a month or two ago he most likely would no have gotten sick at all.

As for you and your mum not getting the flu - look up the term "herd immunity" because there is no way water can immunise against anything:

The letter states this man was sick when he went to the doctor but does not say what his illness was. Would the doctor have given him the pneumonia vaccine if he already had pneumonia or expect the vaccine to cure his illness? I doubt. Obviously the vaccine caused him to develop pneumonia just as the flu vaccine causes people to develop flu-like symptoms.

I have had the flu vaccine yearly and I don't develop flu-like symptoms.

It seems unlikely that any doctor would vaccinate a sick 76 year old. This is the problem with anecdotes - we don't know why he was at the doctors, we don't know if he was given a vaccination, we don't know anything other than this persons story. This is why anecdotes are worthless as evidence.

Unfortunately, doctors are indoctrinated as children, and as students to believe vaccines enhance (improve, make stronger) the immune system. Actually, they suppress the immune system and cripple it. This 76 year old should never have received a single vaccine while already ill. His doctor is poorly informed, but is simply a vaccine pusher who does what he's indoctrinated to do. Thr result is obvious, this 76 year old's immune system became doubly surpressed by the two vaccines and became even less able to mount an immune defence. It could have killed him, but it would be labelled a coincidence, or said he had an underlying disorder. Same old scam and dance.
