'Shep The Turnpike Dog' To Get New Resting Place
Share + Oct 14, 2009 8:44 pm US/Mountain Reporting Shaun Boyd BROOMFIELD, Colo. More than 50 years ago he was known to those who traveled the Boulder Turnpike as "Shep the Turnpike Dog." The beloved shepherd lived in a toll booth on U.S. 36 back in the 1950s.

Typical closeminded rednecks up in Greeley. They don't smoke, so they don't want those who need to smoke to use marijuana. An idiot councilman (with a lisp), said there is more crime surrounding dispensories. That is totally unsubstantiated. Crime happens in bars where people drink (probably like him). A fight will breal out at a booze party, not at a party where people are smoking pot. They are all mellow.
