The Republican idea that business will hire if they are exempt from taxes is ridiculous. If anything ,they wiil stick the money in thier pocket and save to buy plants in slave labor countries like China and Mexico.

Businesses will stick their money in their pockets? That poster has not been designing rockets? Even if you stick your money in the banks, you won't make a high interest rate or even get thanks. But like ya know, that invested and saved bank money is used to make loans! I think that this poster man has never met, known or talked with a real business woman or man. It seems to be a government dependent or a teen geek to me.

Damn! That is a good letter that couldn't be better, even if it is incomprehensible to the average little liberal bed wetter.

The new cold warrior is obviously a womans libber and probably spent most of her life pounding a typewriter or computer or having sex for promotions and has never actually had a labor job where she had to produce anything or sweat. As far as me never Knowing any bussiness people, after working for 41 years,I am more than familiar with the business management type. Most are too lazy to work for a living so they take management business positions that gaurantee they will never have to.As far as me being a teeny bopper,I ony wish I could be again. Theb business women I have dealt with were always conceited, opinionated, vicious, lying.predujiced and man haters.Although I'm sure there are good ones somewhere without a chip on thier shoulder.

The point I was attempting to get to them was that during the period that businesses were getting the tax breaks for all those years, they were cutting and "downsizing"instead of "creating jobs".The very idea that if businesses are allowed to circumvent thier fair share of taxes they will create jobs has proven false since the inception of the tax cuts for the rich.To suddenly today claim they will create jobs is an insult to any adult.

Talkin' shit, nitwit twits, don't know what happens with businessmen quit, as they do, making fired and laid off and redundant employees boohoo; this ignored by old-media whores who only whine after they get right-sized. Government dependents are and have never been afraid of competition and free trade, their genius jobs never being outsourced, of course. All they had to do is pay their dues and shoot their screws and endure it for thirty years or so, unlike their pet old-media 'hos.

I would subscribe to this newspaper if it would publish useful articles like the problem with the noise ordinance. See my post at http://www.topix.com/forum/city/englewood-oh/...
The city govt should buy one of these devices (see the youtube link below) and put it on our street. Write a good article if you're going to chage me 50 cent man!

Being too old and tired for offense and outrage, the Dinglewood Independent no longer has one editorial/opinion page! It is not a laugh because the editor and publisher no longer have a staff, relying on free freelancers and contributors and friends to send digital images and stories in. They also lost their downtown nice brick newspaper office building, moving to Vandalia to consolidate and combine office space. Even the Dayton Daily Snooze has one editorial/opinion page, half of one taken up by advertising. These are the bad old days and sad old days, remembering when newspapers had two editorial pages.

I cannot buy or pay for an Englewood Independent newspaper as long as there is NO editorial or opinion page; not that I bitch or whine just because they don't or won't print mine, a better column or letter that pisses off the local liberal bed wetters.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
