This is a very strange story. According to the Sunday Enquirer, the 3 men were casual acquaintances & didn't even know each others last name. 2 AM & parked at different locations? I dunno know what was going on there but this sure reminded me of the Garr Hill escapades a while back.

Newspaper account below of the drowning leaves a lot to speculation. Seriously! 3 men who don't even know each others last name, boating together at 2 AM? Drugs? Sex? or just plain stupid!? I too recall news of Brkville lake area being a meeting place for male perverts to have sex with each other & no names shared. Some were busted. Does it still continue?
"Officials identified the missing man as Raymond Roger Pitts, 50, of Covington.
Divers searched the area Saturday after reports that a man had jumped in for a swim and may have drowned.
Officers received a phone call from two men around 2:10 a.m. Saturday. They said they were boating with a third male, who jumped in but never resurfaced.
Indiana Conservation Officer Stephen R. Miller described the boaters' relationship as "vague acquaintances." The two friends, who were considerably younger, could only give investigators a first name and wasn't sure where the other man lived.
The witnesses pointed investigators to the spot where they think the man jumped into the water. That area is about 6 to 8 feet deep and 30 to 35 feet from the bank, Miller said. It was unclear if alcohol was involved. Officers obtained a search warrant for the boat and were still out there, Miller said. He called the search warrant a standard protocol.

2 Young men and a 50 year old man?
They sure as hell will know each other's name by the time the murder investigation starts.
Motive???? Robbery perhaps?
This is so sick somehow even thinking people could be drawn into this kind of saga.
What is happening to our beautiful river and lake?
I sure hope this doesn't ruin our reputation as a tourist, family friendly county.
