I have tried and even tried pawn shops. But most pawn shops around here just want to sell them for me, god knows how long that would take. Lol

You should try e-bay, I have bought and sold items .Set a price reserve and that way it won't be sold cheap.

If you do ebay watch the shipping it is shocking when you go to ship and find out the price. I would take them up and see what they would cost to ship on the average and then you won't be shocked like I was. Craiglist is another good site and it's free. Good Luck

Better explain that last comment on Craigslist. It is free to post on there nothing to do with shipping that would still be high. On Craigslist most people want to pick up do that in a secure setting store ect...

As a rule you cant get much money out of things like that. If you arent needing money really bad..
Isnt there a group in town that takes donated dresses and then lets girls from low income families borrow them at prom time?

I don't know about Brookville , but I'm sure Harrison has a place like that.Check out I might be wrong I think it's little princess , you could check out the high school too with proms coming up.I'm sure if you donated them, good would come back to you.I doubt you or anyone could get much these days for used clothing. But check out WRBI dial a Deal at Batesville ( someone could just be looking for a prom dress.) Good luck
