Thanks, is Fohls the only place that has them? I tried looking up "Fohls" and I only see a floor covering business?

A few years ago there was a couple on Snail Creek that sold them. I think they lived where Snail Creek intersects with Silver Creek.

Thanks. Do you have a name or a contact number? I'm not from the area. I am somewhat familiar with the Brookville area. For a few years now I've heard about a place in the Brookville area that sell Owens Corning shingles that are 2nds, I've been told they are usually around $40.00 a square and if that's true I'd love to get hold of a contact number.

Also as an FYI...2nds have no warrenty of any kind and you should make sure to find out why the ones youre interested in are 2nds It could be a very minor problem or much worse. Buy more than you need and be prepared to sort through them.

If youre going to hire somebody to put them on your roof try and get them to go with you when you buy.

Its a good way to save money on a new roof if you just use a little caution.

Fohl & Hoog roofing is the only outlet for O.C. seconds. It is in Cedar Grove Indiana outside of Brookville.

Thanks for all the information...I appreciate it. I did call the roofing company but they said they were out of stock. I guess I'll go to Menards and check their prices. Again, thanks for taking the time to help me w/ my questions.

If they work there, how can they sell second hand shingles? Would that be taxable income or how does that work? They buy them then re sell?
