Frankie has always been upfront & open with me. when I couldn't get a response from the crooks in the court house I could call on Frank. There will be alot of people that won't vote for him due to the drug charges, the type of person Frankie has always been to me, I found it hard to fathem what was said. There had to be more to it than meets the eye, I know what living with pain is, and I understand that. But since it was publicized & basically the attempt was to put him it a bad light in the communities eye's, for several people it did. I believe half of what I see and none of what I hear. Frankie is a good man, I can say this much, he is on the road a lot, so he can't be in total control of his teenage daughter, and by the way I have passed his home many nights & no sign of a party going on. If we take and judge a man by the actions of their children, we are all doomed. Because regardless of how we raise our kids they go their own way. We raise them to understand & do what is right not what is wrong, but outside influence is what they follow. Do not prejudge a person by their children's actions, because someday that may be you. Believe me I know, we can't always be their keepers. An being positive that he allows that to go on, unless I hear it directly from him, it isn't a consideration.

Well my son got the hell beat out of him by 2 men. One of which he knew the other he didn't. He walked right out of the court room, and the judge said on the record that the deputy did not do his job. And he was right. I guess the as long as you are someone's sweetheart (informant, provider of drugs) you can walk on attempted murder. That's how bad my son was beaten and left for dead.
So Frankie can go to hell with his wife and anyone else who thinks he's such a great damn officer of the law. His own law maybe.

You have know clue. Nice people should be given the praise I can't help some of you and your problems I was just stating a fact, we have had a couple of situations in which you couldn't depend on the Sheriff or other Deputies, he came and he helped us correct our problem. Until you need an officer that isn't there to make a pass at you or one that won't show up, then you can speak up. I have a right to my opinion as well as anyone else. I am sure Frank doesn't appreciate being put down by people that get half a story and expand on it. I know what happened in Falmouth. I don't quite understand the situation, but it's Franks business, not yours. You get to vote & when you do so vote for someone else, if you don't vote. Then you are just BLAH BLAH BLAH>>>>>> >>>>>>> >>

frank put himself down when he tried to purchase illegal drugs and it is our buisness because hes trying to run for sheriff. if frank doesnt want people expanding on it maybe he needs to run a article in the paper expanding on the fact that he was out to buy "ILLEGAL DRUGS" when he should of been arresting the sellers. whos he going to pass the blame on, or is he just going to avoid it and try to act like it didnt happen. obviously he is alright with people selling and buying ILLEGAL DRUGS as long as your back hurts.

Come on people, anibolic steroids ... Give me a break it no different then our baseball or football players buying and using anibolics. He wasn't trafficing (selling) he was buying them. One cycle of anibolic steroids big deal they just saw an opprotunity to arrest a cop and did so. I know Frank ,he didn't spend the first day in jail he posted bond and went home. As far as the charge it was wrong and the distric judge and the county attorney amended it to possession which is what he should have been charged with in the first place. This a misdomener not a felony so it doesn't keep him from being a cop or sheriff.I will vote for him and I know he will do a good job and make sure the rest of the office does the same job.
one cycle of anabolic steroids big deal, well if it wasnt no big deal why did he chose a parking lot instead of a doctors office. no time in jail big deal he bonded out, so do alot of criminals and that doesnt make it ok. he was a deputy sheriff and knew he was breaking the law but thought he was beyond the law. i hope that all the people that have been charged with prescription drug charges have been let go with a misdomener. l e retired is that suppose to impress someone or an attempt to make your statement seem more impressive sorry it didnt work. frank smith is a criminal and to vote him in for sheriff is ignorant at best.

Mike Nelson`s son was not Sheriff he was but when you have a conviction on drugs running for Sheriff thats a different story maybe his step son Ian should be running! Only problem would be is his controlling mother would make him hire Frankie as his a deputy and then cycle starts up again! SO BEWARE!

Aren't those the kind you use to pump you up? Isn't that the kind the wrestlers use? How would they help back pain? Certainly,Frankie could not have been using them. He's still the same size he always was.

Well, all I know is he went to a back specialist and physical therapy. Anibolics help repair muscles also. I think he would be a good sheriff, he has always been honest and helpful. I have never heard of him being rude to anyone.so I think he should have a chance to prove himself.
