Maranatha Baptist Church

Just wanted to see what everyone has to say about Maranatha Baptist Church, the affiliated school, the affiliated college and their leaders.

YEARS ago I went to the church and the academy and I hated everything about it. I hope that through the years things have changed...

I like this church very much, and the school too!

I too went to that church/school and hated it. the "head master" was whack, made us do the stupidest things. He caused me to be spanked one time and was I ever mad!!! I walked out of the school and he came after me and during the process met up with my mother :) NOT good. I started skipping school because I HATED it there so much!!! Wonder if anything changed?? I sure hope so!!! Most of all I hated the little "cliques" and how if you was not "IN" one of those "cliques" you was not "IN" at all.

are you should you people are talking about the same place, never heard anything bad about the church or school, and I know people that go there now.

My neighbors sent 4 kids there.. the kids learned little other than memorizing the bible. They all (parents too) are sorry for the experience. I wouldn't sent my cat there. It's a hick hill billy money making scheme for the old Rev and his son ... neither have ever worked a day in their lives. they prey on the week minded who go to that rats nest.

hummm.... I believed he started on the line at GM or chrysler in the early 60's before starting the church

it`s not a cult but all of those people want is your money,because the are to lazy to get out and get a real job,a pastor is no better than you or me it`s just thats he gets a big fat check to get up in church and talk about the bible for an hour or two,do you really know what kind of person he is probably a bigger sinner than you are it`s just that he hides behind the bible,I gave money to that church for years until I found out that most of it was going into that fatcat pastors pocket,he don`t care anything about those people that go to that church,he just uses them to fatten his bank account.
