WTF is going on in this neighborhood? Monday morning, that 59-year-old day care owner and her elderly parents are shot to death and now this on the very next day? Should I continue to keep my doors locked? YIKES!Sounds like people around here are just losing their damn minds!

And this latest victim at the corner of Hampshire Court and Candlewood was a 32-year-old woman who was murdered by the boyfriend she was about to leave! Poor woman had her whole life ahead of her and because she chose the wrong man, she's dead now! The most dangerous time in an abusive relationship is when the abused partner decides to get out.....

And those people at that daycare, they were doing absolutely nothing wrong. Sounds like somebody desperately needed money for their drugs.

normally that area is quiet enough that I take my kid walking with me at times.
that one was barely lil over a tenth of a mile from my house. the one near Candlewood.

I often walk my dog around that area, so I was pretty shocked to hear something like that happened over there! Our neighborhood is not a bad neighborhood, but bad things happen even in the very best neighborhoods......

very true. Coon rapids. for a while. someone or someones were targeting several of the homes around park areas. especially those whose backyards were almost on top of the parks. the homeowner would get a call. if the person answered. house was left alone for that time. but if no one answered. the house would then end up missing a batch of stuff. same thing with those whose doors were unlocked. one case, they thought it was their kids who came in at the time. the woman's purse was on a living room chair. key word - was. the criminal took the purse and took off.
learned of various schools including my old schools had weapons troubles like throwing knives. kids would throw them at the walls.

Domestic murder usually means one person who thought they could push another person's buttons unlimited, got stiffled.

nope. in many cases it is due to someone who thought he or she had the right to control the victim. this includes "disposing" of the victim when the control freak thought they had the right to kill the victim.
in those cases. the murderer thought that the victim was nothing more than mere chattel. to be owned as property by the murderer

I could not have said it better myself. Usually the most dangerous time in an abusive relationship is when the victim tries to leave. Mom said it herself when she said that abuse is about control. She was once married to an emotionally and sometimes even physically abusive man, but she saw the light and threw him the **** out!

I was reading some reviews on some of the apartment complexes around here, like along Zane Avenue, and those reviews contain the very same problems you are describing here.
