Im from the UK and reading all of you guys posts made me realise that the usa really is a fucked up place. The worst thing about it is seeing all those black guys on tv in hoods and bandanas glorifying gangs. They're all like " were not a gang were a Family, we kill for eachother" - wake up and smell the coffee!! When your sheep ass is in jail being raped in your cell by 6 men your going to be on your own. Something is going wrong in America, maybe it's the lack of education, the lack of motivation, the lack of jobs or the war.
Foreal tho.
"God bless America" my ass.
Is it any better in London? I hear you have gangs of high school girls who go around beating up on old people.
And if your government declared Martial Law you fools would have no guns to fight back. You can have your Merry Ol' England.

Bed stey not that bad? Lol. I lived on herkimer and kingston. 2nd day there across the street was a basketball game going on. So I went to watch is was hott outside. Right when I stepped in the park I heard 6 gun shots and a guy limping towards me from getting shot in his thigh. I took off my tang top and made a turn kit from it and helped him get to his car. By the time I looked up there was 1 person on the floor the middle of the court. He died from a shot to the head and chest. Another off duty correction officer was shot through the abdomin(female). She survived.

Exactly where have you lived in ENY and Where have you lived in Flatbush?
As I've noted on numerous occassions once you pass Liberty Avenue going toward Linden Boulevard it gets very rough. Once you hit Atlantic Avenue going toward Highland Boulevard it is soooooooo different. Once you get pass Pennslyvania Avenue in the direction of Sheffield and such streets it is horrible but once you hit Pennslyvania going toward Queens not so much. It depends on where you've been and what your experience has been in ENY. There are areas, that people refer to as ENY that really aren't and there are sub-divisions of ENY that many of the people on this forum don't even know exist because they haven't traveled that far in. It is like when I went through Trenton New Jersey, had I stopped at the dead center of Trenton, I would not have stumbled onto Ewing (a suburb of Trenton). Trenton scared the hell out of me, I have never seen anything so depressed and gutteral in my life but just beyond that shambles of a neighborhood is a very beautiful suburb, albeit, it would still make me a little nervous to live that close to the grime because 15 to 20 blocks away is still not far enough for me to get away from what I saw but I am just saying that if you only know one area of a place (and I am not saying that you do or you don't), then how can you back up the argument that it is the worst place in Brooklyn. Where as Flatbush is concerned, did you live in Flatbush or East Flatbush?
I agree with you, it aint where you from it's where you at. I lived in Brooklyn all of my life. Borm and living in Fort Greene (check my Wikipedia) for years, I witnessed numerous shootouts, robberies, drug dealers and crackheads. Bedstuy was also known to be a hostile neighborhood. I also lived on Barbey and Jamaica Ave in East New York, living next door to a Dentist, which happens to be white. My parents purchased 86 Barbey from a widow of a retired lawyer. A few blocks away on Highland Blvd there are mansions that resembles the ones in Ditmas Park, Mill Basin and Sheepshead Bay. Currently, I own a home in Canarsie and absolutely love the neighborhood. Yed Brooklyn as all places have its good and bad neighborhoods. But times change along with some neighborhoods, except Brownsville, lol! You can ask almost any Brooklyn born person and ask them, "Where is the top 3 choices of places in Brooklyn you would not live?" I GUARANTEE Brownsville is there..

As I stated earlier, all Brooklyn neighborhoods has its darksides. Let's not forget those rich, sophisticated areas with organized crime. Just cause you don't hear about it, make it a safe place to live...

Ok....HOT, not hott. TANK top...not tang top. TOURNIQUET...not turn kit. ABDOMEN...not abdomin. This entire country has become embarrassingly illiterate.

Red areas denote streets that have been perceived to be dangerous
