The first way i like to choose a good Locksmith is by asking for a license. If a locksmith in Brooklyn does not have a valid Locksmith license from the department of consumer affairs, then i would avoid dealing with that Locksmith. A good locksmith company should not only have a license but an internet presence as well such as

This is what a legitimate locksmith should look like.

Have you spoken with your friends and neighbors about this? There are a lot of ways to find a company, but word of mouth is one of my favorites. It, for the most part, is pretty reliable and effective. Nobody is going to refer someone they hate to someone they like. http://www.arapahoesecurity.com
