i thought leigh-taylor had a degree in musical performance. this is the first i ever heard that she had a degree in interior design. i know that's what she does now, but...i'm not sure university of virginia even has an 'interior design' degree.

I've met her and she is absolutely lovely. I think she'll be a wonderful Miss New York. With so much negativity in the world it's refreshing that programs like Miss America still exist. Haven't we've all seen enough traditions fall by the wayside? More power to her.

Virginia isn't in New York. Brooklyn is not in Manhattan and Dix Hills is not in Five Towns.

Btw, there are no eggs in egg rolls, no butter in butter chicken, no eggs in chocolate egg creams and - most importantly - there is no need to call a hot water heater a "hot water heater." Understand, there is no reason to heat hot water.

She doesn't even have a car like so many NY'ers. Also, she pays $1700 a month for an apartment that's not even as big as most hotel rooms, but she only does this to stop all of your true NY girls from being Miss NY. You are so ridiculous.
