The Grocery Store at 38 Reid Ave was Nacho's Supermarket in the 60's.

In 1910 the 38 Reid Avenue was the location of E. Perez Inc. Agent for Boynton Heaters Ranges and Furnaces. E. Perez was my grandfather born in 1878, died in 1920.

Wow that was some great information Dan. I was born on Kosciusko Street between Reid Ave and Broadway and love the history of the area. Do you have any pictures of your Grandfather with his store?

38 Reid Ave. the corner of Reid Ave. and Kosciusko Street...what we remember as Nacho's supermarket in the late 1950s was Mr. Metz's Haberdashery Store in the 1940's. The empty lot next door was Mr. Goldberg's Candy Store. Thanks to Dan we now know a little more history of the building on Reid Ave.

Sorry I was too young to know your grandfather. Can you tell us any history about his store.
