My younger sister had showed this message board to me and I couldn’t believe what I saw nor could I believe I actually sat down and read many of these ridiculous assumptions and crude remarks. People never fail to amaze me. The kids went public with the situation for one reason only, and that was so other kids wouldn’t make the same mistake. What I don’t understand is why there financial status, age or reason for going has anything to do with the circumstance. Regardless if the club had been reserved for a 21st birthday, a bachelor party or any other type of event a mistake was made and the club did not handled it the right way. To all the adults who took the time to comment and express their insightful opinions I ask you this; would you want your children to talk about others the way you have? What makes it okay to hide behind your computer and make these assumptions. Have you not learned that a location does not define and individual, that it is wrong to make stereotypes about others and jump to conclusions based on a small piece of information. You are all entitled to your opinions however, many of you should think before you speak.

Very well put. I agree totally. The parents did a great job getting their money back for their kids. If the parents didnt persue it, this may have never been resolved. These parents of Commack should be commended for their hard work and teaching their children not to give up.
