The Catholics should all band together and pull their kids from Catholic School and enroll than in the Lawrence School District next year and run for board seats and crack down on the bogus "rabbi" exemption that lets Orthodox own million dollar homes and pay no taxes.

The Catholics should also protest busing for all Private Students. The vast majority of busing costs if for the Yeshiva kids in Brooklyn and Queens on long expensive bus rides which is driving taxes way up. The few handful of Catholics in AB with kids in LB Catholic schools could send them all in a stretch limo every morning as their school taxes would be so much less once they stopped busing thousands of orthodox to Yeshivas all over the place.

BTW the public bus runs from AB right though Long Beach, school is four days next week. That is for her two kids 16 bus tokens or around 32 bucks. This is not so much about money but the fact the Orthodox ruined the Lawrence School district to such an extent moms like this have to pay private school tuition and now they want to take away her bus and insult to injury keep their bus. Catholic Schools are open on Jewish holidays Lawrence Schools are not. So this issue really just effects Catholic students. Also Atlantic Beach has zero Schools. The kids have no local school to go to. They have to get on a long bus ride over bridge to Lawrence to a crappy school or go to closer better catholic school.
