Staten Island elected officials decry 'vile act of hatred' at site of Ramadan ceremony

Several of the borough's elected officials on Monday railed against what's being investigated as a possible anti-Muslim hate crime -- someone scattered pieces of bacon on the New Dorp Beach field where worshipers gathered to celebrate the last day of Ramadan.

If only they'd decry the words of the radical Imams that call for the destruction of Israel and death of Jews as much as they do the act of chucking bits of bacon about.
