You might get a hint if on election night they are in a good mood or bad mood just opposite of your mood.
Women stick together .
yes, like the women from all the families and friends of those poor men who were killed in Bengazi as a result of her inept decision making. Intelligent women don't make excuses nor dig up fake brain tumors to get out of testifying. Only insecure ones do

Maude, this 'president' goes on TV and feigns outrage about corporations with their plans of 'inversions' to avoid the higher taxes of the USA, and he said they don't get to pick, and choose what tax laws they will obey, and follow, but yet he and his Bozo AG Holder have been doing that exact same thing they pick and choose what laws constitutionally speaking they want to obey, and follow so they should just shut their damn big mouths.
OBAMA is the typical community organizer only a little more polished than Al Sharpton.

as we get closer to election day, Liberals get more and more paranoid. In Florida, they are running those "if you like your health care, you can keep it" ads like mad. I haven't seen one ad for the Democrats yet. Losing the Senate puts Bozocare back on the chopping block.....and they know it

pelosi lied.

She knew what was in the bill.

She knew the CIA was waterboarding.

Her liberal constituents don't care about honesty.

Nope. If he truly believed in what he was saying then he was NOT lying. Lying, by definition, requires deliberate intent to deceive. If you believe you are relaying accurate, truthful info you cannot be lying. Simple as that.
Personally I believe he lied and miss led the public to achieve what he wanted to do in the first place.
What you describe requires conscious intent . If he lied or misled intentionally to achieve a desired goal then he would have had to have done so KNOWINGLY.
More than five years after the initial invasion of Iraq, the Senate Intelligence Committee has finally gone on the record: the Bush administration misused, and in some cases disregarded, intelligence which led the nation into war.
-- Statements and implications by the President and Secretary of State suggesting that Iraq and al-Qa'ida had a partnership, or that Iraq had provided al-Qa'ida with weapons training, were not substantiated by the intelligence.
-- Statements by the President and the Vice President indicating that Saddam Hussein was prepared to give weapons of mass destruction to terrorist groups for attacks against the United States were contradicted by available intelligence information.
-- Statements by President Bush and Vice President Cheney regarding the postwar situation in Iraq, in terms of the political, security, and economic, did not reflect the concerns and uncertainties expressed in the intelligence products.
-- Statements by the President and Vice President prior to the October 2002 National Intelligence Estimate regarding Iraq's chemical weapons production capability and activities did not reflect the intelligence community's uncertainties as to whether such production was ongoing.
-- The Secretary of Defense's statement that the Iraqi government operated underground WMD facilities that were not vulnerable to conventional airstrikes because they were underground and deeply buried was not substantiated by available intelligence information.

-- The Intelligence Community did not confirm that Muhammad Atta met an Iraqi intelligence officer in Prague in 2001 as the Vice President repeatedly claimed.
Because the intelligence community could not confirm that Muhammad Atta met an Iraqi intelligence officer does not necessarily mean it still did not happen.
Regardless, if he stated as verified FACT that the meeting took place when he KNEW (operative word) the intelligence community did not confirm it, then he misled KNOWINGLY.

Miss Purebread.....you gotta give it up.

Either knowingly or unknowingly Bush/Cheney and their admin LIED.

Take your pick.

Either way I agree that it is proper use of the term.

ignorant or unaware: unintentionally – unconsciously- inadvertently- unwittingly- unthinkingly –neglectfully and or not aware of what is really happening.

Bush either knowingly or unknowingly lied.

It was well stated.

You are wasting your time.

Arguing with a hair splitting dumb ass like "Ed Norton" is like arguing religion with a religious lunatic.

I was willing to give Bush the benefit of the doubt that maybe he was fed false information and relied on it to tell Congress, the American people, and the world someone else's lie. The more I learn about it, the more I think he knew what he was telling was a lie. At the very least he adopted a "That's my story and I'm sticking to it" attitude even after he knew what he had said was not true.

----------

As to your question to me about the Senate race in Kentucky: I have not paid much attention to it. McConnell's ads on TV and on his campaign website make it appear that he is running against Obama, with only a sideline mention of Allison Grimes. She is running against McConnell, or trying to, but I don't think she has a chance. She is on record as having said she was "pro-choice down the line on abortion." The Family Foundation of Kentucky (Focus on the Family) and the Baptist preachers that about 50 percent of Kentucky voters rely on to tell them who to vote for are campaigning against her.

The coal companies are campaigning against her too, and spending big money to do it. They say she is a supporter of "Obama's war on coal." That is not true. She is against doing away with the Mine Safety and Health Administration and environmental regulations that the coal companies would like to scrap. The United Mine Workers union saw through it and endorsed her, but that's pretty much like getting endorsed by the United Confederate Veterans was in 1940. There are only about 1,000 active UMWA members in Kentucky now.

Bottom line: McConnell will win with about 55 percent of the vote. About the only thing that Ms. Grimes will accomplish is set the tone for whoever runs against Rand Paul in 2016.

Are you back again? EVERY president has lied, take your pick. It is part of being a politician. The point with your bull is Bush STILL acted WITH other countries to take Saddam out. It was no different than any other murdering POS. It was no different than invading another country to take out Bin Laden. Bush acted according to the provisions of the cease fire WITH other countries who also agreed Saddam had continued to violate the cease fire for over 10 years.

I never had sex with that woman, and You can keep your insurance and doctor and save money on your "better insurance".

At least IF Bush lied it still was what needed to be done. The end result justified the means. A mass murderer was brought to justice. Which is still better than the lies told by Obama that idiots like you keep supporting although the vast majority realize he is a failure.

I heard a little interesting chatter that the lady Klingon economics professor passed on to me while I was remodeling her kitchen this past week. There is speculation that the run against McConnell is just a warmup. Ms. Grimes has her eye on the governor's mansion in Frankfort in 2015. Maybe the White House in 2020.

Seeing as how I think Rand Paul will probably be the next President of the United States, and the Libertarian mess that he will make out of it in his first term, that could be one hell of an interesting race. The biggest face off between two Kentuckians since Abe Lincoln and Jeff Davis.

Yea, I am just pulling the chain of the (Norton) idiot to keep him going. Give him something to get wound up about.

The worse part of going into Iraq was it destabilized the region. Saddam was a SOB without question. I'm of the opinion that part of the world is not ready for a democracy due to the religious nuts. Sometimes I wonder about the religious nuts in our politics.

I don't know much about her but old Mitch McConnell is well past his prime and due for retirement.

Rand Paul is doing a little Mitt Romney flip flop in regards to his past positions on issues. Libertarians like all political parties (Republicans & Democrats) have some good points and some bad points. His problem will be attempting to sell some of his past positions that don't set well with most Republicans & Democrats.

I think the Republican primary with be a real dog eat dog contest. Likely a lot of bark will be stripped off everyone of them in the primary.

It sure appears right now that Hillary has it in the bag. Martin O'Malley governor of Maryland might make it interesting as I think he has desires. She will run strong in my opinion.

If Rand Paul does get to be President and the Tea Party express keeps running things could turn into a big mess.

If barry wants the ISIS army to stop their carnage all he needs to do is call them and say 'hey guys please stop the killing, you are making me look bad', which should prove that he IS a muslim, or muslim supporter as those pinpricks he has the military conducting are as useful as teats on a bull.

IRS targeting of conservatives, first it was serious, now it's a phony scandal with no smidgeon

Benghazi was a spontaneous in response to a video, to a pre-planned terrorist attack that we had no forces ready for.

Transparency.

Vacations. "I will not rest"

Ed Norton and "nac" must be the worst contrarians alive. Either that or they are absolute idiots who think that they are smarter than everybody else, like the horse that is so far behind in the race coming round the track that he feel like he's in front of the pack. Take "nac" question about Libertarian immigration policy for example. He seems to want a border like the Berlin Wall -- land mines, guard towers, dogs, and all. But the Libertarian Party platform states, "We welcome all refugees to our country. Furthermore, immigration must not be restricted for reasons of race, religion, political creed, age, or sexual preference. We therefore call for the elimination of all restrictions on immigration, the abolition of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Border Patrol, and a declaration of full amnesty for all people who have entered the country illegally. "
