It was white, the edges trim with red, and no sound. Coming from sw to almost Devils Lake then turned back a little. Are there lighted balloons out now, or could it be a UFO ?6586

Places with unusual names sometimes have a history of inexplicable occurrences. In 1978 I saw a 60 ft ship on the lake and approached it within a few feet. After checking it out, I went for a swim at the north end cove. Upon returning, the ship had disappeared. Years later, the LPL published a history of the lake. There used to be a large ship (the "MO") which serviced the hotel at the turn of the century. Did I see a ship from the early 1900's on the lake?
