Boston is not a good city to ride a bike in. I wont do it.

1) A bunch of newbies are gonna get run over.

2) The cops are gonna start enforcing all those ridiculous traffic rules for bikes, like they do in California. This will remove most of the practical advantages of riding a bike in the city and cause cyclists to jam auto traffic by riding down the middle of Mass Ave the way the law says they should.

This is a great idea. We should have the service available in the suburbs as well like zip-car. so people can use them to commute and to ride aroud. It would be nice rather than having to buy a new bike to use the service. There are plenty of off rooad routes and quieter neighborhoods like beacon hill-north end, etc. you can cut through to avoid the busier areas. Boston isn't so bad for biking as people claim ---it is a good program that will save energy, and help save our environment. So long as gangsters dont steal the bikes :P They should expand this program to the Suburbs as well at least within the 128 belt.

I was driving the other way up Rt 2A yesterday. I say the other way because the traffic coming towards me was being lead by a lady in a mini van. You know the one from the Dunkin' Donuts 'karate' commercial? Yeah, I think it was her. She was afraid to pass a cyclist, cruising along just behind him (which drives me crazy when I'm on a bike, like, just GO AROUND!) at about 15 MPH. Traffic was backed up half a mile.

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Cancer

Take it easy today, or the most insignificant things will get you down in no time. A difficult letter in the post, or a tricky conversation with a loved one, will sink your spirits down to your ankles. Ugh. Life is not as tough as it seems right now, so keep reminding yourself that we can choose to feel better. A bar of delicious chocolate, or a tasty savoury snack might help a little, too...
