Was this young man another victim of the SFK serial killer? Police were seemingly ready to declare his death a drunken accident, before an autopsy, when his body was initially found. Yet the facts don't add up.
It will take demands from the local community to get this case thoroughly examined. The very first thing the family was told, was that they had to wait 24 hours to make a report.

I do believe there was some kind of foul play involved, and there are too many similarities this case has with others around the country. He was NOT drunk, "drunk" people cannot dial a cell phone and carry on conversation with their girlfriend (who would know whether or not he was inebriated). He simply vanished in a matter of two minutes and ended up in the water. What are the updates from the Boston Police, some of the surveillance in the area had to show some clue to this very unfortunate incident.

I don't live in the area but I was hoping some one local would post any updates that may not make the national news.

It seems as though the discussion of this case has just about completely stopped...shame shame shame. Too many things do not add up and this family deserves the truth.

Will Hurley is my great-nephew and we are pleading for any information we can get regarding his disappearance and death. We do not believe it was accidental and KNOW it was not suicide. Will's family will not rest until we know what happened and justice is done. Many thanks to the police and people of Boston who treated my niece with kindness and respect while she was there in search of her son. We are urging the people of Boston to keep this case from becoming old news as they are not safe until it is solved.

It would appear that the boston police force lacks tact and diplomacy for even hinting that will was under the influence . an apology should be issued to the entire family

i live in the boston area and would like to do something to help in ensuring this case is investigated further. if mr. hurley's family suspects foul play then all of us should pay attention.

It is imperative that this case does not fade away.
In the honor of Will's name the investigation must remain active and all resources exhausted. Something happended that fateful night that was not accidental. If one person and their loved ones can be spared such tragedy and heartache then his passing will not be in vain.

what information do you have that points to a deliberate act? if there was more information then maybe more of us could help by contacting law enforcement and INSISTING something be done. i don't know mr. hurley but have felt from the onset that this was not an accident. i'd like to help see this investigation remains active. i've not seen any reports on the autopsy results and i've not seen anything additional in the news that confirms the case is still open.

I do not think the autopsy results have been released yet, and do not know if the press will report them.

the press will report the results if the family releases them and gives permission. it would only matter if the results show that mr. hurley suffered some other trauma in addition to the tragic drowning that may indicate someone harmed him prior to his ending up in the water. it is up to the family to keep this investigation active and to pressure investigators and the press. they must be in the midst of terrible grief i'd imagine it's difficult to keep the pressure on.

i really hope that will's family keeps the pressure on, i knew him and know that even had he been drinking he wouldn't have gone into the river. he could handle himself and wasn't stupid even under the influence, and according to everyone who seen or talked to him that night he was not drunk. so this makes absolutely no sense at all to me or any one else who knew him.
