Let us promote the big green elephant on Lower HarborRoad before starting another project in these times. Who is going to pay the taxes for all these dream schemes? This sounds like a- nother tax hike for the local residents. Who, where, how. and when has not completely been "exposed." Something tells my gut that the Harbor will not recieve any benefits for this "year round" unusual venture the few, not the general population.

What is a "skill set that no one else has?" what gualifacations does the "committee" have to make such a statement?
Why not have the citizens make this call? I really question this venture. We have an Ice House not being productive/used. We have a large building incomplete. Hey, Am I the only one questioning this whole dream scheme?

you are right .. and until the good ol'e boy group lets go and takes a look at other ports on the west coast to see what it takes to become productive and be able to bring more people to the lower Harbor area to spend money . then do something with the building setting empty . before you spend more money on bunk ideas . open up the building and put some shops in it super low rent . the shop owners will keep the building warm and dry . the way it sets now it will continue to fall apart . the port commissioners ,need to think out side the box and stop letting people swindle and con the people of the Harbor area out of money .
so Eleanor Brown you are right on the money
