What happen to Carol

I could not believe that Carol did not want to pay the landscaper that the village hired.
At the monthly meeting this week she questioned the board and the mayor about paying the landscaper company. Carol forgot that the landscaper was listed in the village budget that she and the board voted in at a workshop and she approved. Now after they have been working for the village Carol does not want to pay them. She has done this in the past, voted to approved something at a work shop then at the monthly meeting act like she never heard of it. Is she trying to look like she is watching the spending at the main meeting to put on a show or is there something wrong with her? I can see that the rest of the board can't believe it when she questions the mayor on something that they approved at a work shop then sits there making faces at the villagers like she knows what she is talking about. Thank God we have an election coming up in 2013.

OMG you are so right thank you I thought I was going crazy.

She does like to show boat a lot of times, but I think she is doing this because she wants to run for Mayor. And like some one said she is a wind bag who does not get much done. I also think she is lost without her friend Fred around that the other trustee's got rid of.I don't think she is good for the village and will not vote for her next year.

Carol was a lousy councilwoman so why would anyone think she would do any better as a trustee?

I'm not voting for her either but I thought she was right to ask exactly what the charge was for. Just cause you have a budge line for a landscaper doessnt mean you blidnly pay the bill. Dont you need to know what hes charging you for before you pay it??

Carol did nothing for Mastic Beach as a councilwoman and she is doing nothing for the village. If anything she is holding things back because she can't make up her mind about something. Why they picked her as a trustee I don't know. Probably because Fred told the mayor too... Fred and her are good friends as she is with Snead. And you are right, she does act like she is watching the spending but they keep on spending money like its growing on trees. Some of them still think the village will get everything that the MBPOA have control over but I would not hold my breath over that anymore.
I still think the village will work with the right people running it and Carol and Gary are not the right people for the job . We have an election coming up next March, and both their seats are up for grab.

She knew what the village was paying them because it was in the 2012 budget that she voted on and approved at a work shop weeks before. They all knew what the cost of the landscaper would be when they approved it and singed a contract with them.

The new Zoning Commission was announced on June 12 by Mayor Bill at a meeting.
On June 20, at a meeting Carol Bissonette said she wanted to form a Historical Commission and a Architectural Review Board , it will be coming up at the August 14TH meeting.
Is something wrong with this woman that she forgets that's why the mayor and board of trustees, that she is part of, picked a new Zoning Commission? Why can't she let them do the work and see what they come up with first. I never see any of the trustees at the zoning meetings except for Gail. I know Bob's wife has been ill and can't be there. But maybe Carol should go so she can remember that we have a Zoning Commission.

I heard Jane Powers is running. I see her at all the meetings and at the work shops that I can get to after I get off of work.
She is always asking questions and helped get that ice cream store reopened that the village closed down.
She has my vote this is the kind of person we need on the board.

Wow, that is pretty shocking if it is true. At what point does the Village take action against people who do not pay their taxes?

I just got off the village web site and your are right its under her husbands name and not paid in two years.

Its true no taxes paid by Carol or her Husband on their home. Someone should question her at the next Village meeting on the 14th. I'm sure it just slipped her mind or she forgot like she does with the things she okays and then questions at the meetings.

Exactly. Just like Gary forgot to get permission to park 127 boats in the wet lands without proper permits or authorization. It's so true, these crooked "leaders" must go, not get special favors for being our Deputy Mayor.

I am outraged that an official of the Village has not paid her taxes. I can't be at the next meeting but I sure hope someone is going to bring up this issue. There must be penalties such as forcloser for people who do not pay taxes and Carol should be no exception. Sheis supposed to set an example not make a mockery of the system.
