"Under God" was added in 1954 by President Eisenhower less than 60 years ago. Not to say that I do not believe those words, I do very much so, however, I believe they are misplaced.

Our 1st Amendments establishment clause which by our founders was written nearly 235 years ago. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

I think those words are clear and the reasons our founders wrote them are clear as well. It was to protect the individuals right to worship or not worship, however he would choose. Think if the government could regulate the way we worship like the way they do our economy...or if there was a National Religion....

I know in the South this might not be a popular stance and Im ok with that, but its not about taking God out of Government its about insuring the Government isn't allowed to think they have the power to rule over God.

Just because we currently suffer an anti-american in the white house, who has been photographed kissing the ring of a foreign monarch,,, does not release us of our obligation to respect the office of the POTUS... As a nation of laws, our founders clearly laid out the process for airing objections to acts of the president,,,, and other elected representatives,,,, and while I cannot quote the specific statute,, I have no doubt that there exists a statute that the your so called "good attorney" should have followed in any objection to the judge's order....
