My home is at risk every single day of the year. I risk everything I have every day. My retirement is not guaranteed, nor is my pay check next month.
My company has experienced three years of very tough times. Every single employee took a pay cut. The lowest tier accepted a 10% decline, mid tier employees took a 25% decline, and upper tier took between a 50% and 100% reduction in earnings for a minimum of 1 full year.
Don't you dare to pretend that cutting a bloated payroll in the public sector is any more devastating than what so many companies have experienced in recent times.
You are nothing more than a selfish basturd who is expecting the rest of the producers in society to pay his way.
Screw you and the horse you rode in on.
It's good that folks were willing to take a pay cut to keep jobs and the business going.

You FAIL to mention if YOU took a pay cut....and if so...how much...and how did it affect your family>

You are narrow-minded about "producers" and folks being "selfish".
I used to work for CTB / McGraw-Hill until they outsourced 75% of their tech work to a company in India....close to 300 of us all together.

At NO point did the company say..."we need to cut salaries to save jobs".

I've now been out of work for 35 months...as the vast majority of tech jobs have been outsourced to other countries.

Let's argue some more if you feel like it...
