A 21-year-old Brookfield man told police he was delivering pizza for Domino’s and was sent to 1920 Euclid, where he was attacked and left with an injured face. The victim said he took the pizza to the front porch of 1920 Euclid, then saw two males running toward him,one from the gangway on the south side of the property, the other from the east side of the street.

The offender from the gangway then used a two-by-four to hit the victim in the face, head and shoulders. The men stole the pizza and fled eastbound across Euclid, then through gangways to a small, dark 4-door vehicle parked in the 1900 Euclid/Wesley alley. The offenders were last seen traveling south in the vehicle. Witnesses saw the beating and reported hearing the sound of the board hitting the victim.

The offenders were described as two male blacks, 19-21 years old, in dark clothing. One wore a jacket with a fur-trimmed hood and gold trim on the sleeves. The men wore their hoods up.

These f'in pieces of ghetto filth should have their fingernails ripped off if they catch them. Thank god someone yelled something. If this had happened in Washington Heights or some other scummy black ghetto the neighbors would have just watched and probably laughed. If it happened under my window you'd have two less ghetto people in the world.

It's called common sense.
Some believe that mixing low-income with middle class helps low-income move out of bad areas.
And that they will adopt middle class values.
What happens is these low-lifes who have the government pay their rent don't get money for clothes, drugs or cars. They then rob from the area they live with friends from the inner city.

Jayelem, thanks for the post. This bums me out big time. Makes me wish for the old days in Berwyn when Berwyn PD kicked criminal ass and stood up for the little locals... Old school Berwyn PD and Berwyn locals would have been all over this. Rounding up all kinds of the usual suspects and putting cases on them or worse.....

Jaylem - on a side note. Saw your profile had a reference to Freddy's Pizza on 16th Street in Cicero. My wife and I used to occassionally walk to Freddy's from our little casa on Harvey.
Great pizza. Great place. Only a couple of years ago seems like 20 years ago. Makes me sad that the neighborhood has gone to sh** so fast.

How do you know that they're not doing this? And what do you mean by "or worse?" Maybe rounding up some blacks and let them know they're not welcome, wink wink? You can't do that kind of stuff anymore guy.

Please describe the kind of people that made it go bad. So other towns don't let this happen to them.

I totally agree with you. Is there that many black suspects to round up in Berwyn?
