Consistent application of justice.

As soon as he gives an "un-coerced" confession, as witnessed by a panel of 12 of his peers ....Do a public service announcement on all media outlets, Take him to the Town Square, Read the charges and his confession, Put one bullet in the back of his head, cremate his carcass, Place ashes in the trash.

When guilt is not in question...git er done'.

This is the only real application of justice....keep the lawyers and lawyer judges out of it as much as possible.

He didn't mean to kill her. Oh, wait! He started a fire to destroy the evidence. Wait again! She was the evidence! So he did mean to kill her. Throw the book at him. He should not be allowed to have another day of freedom.

His name is James A-Hole--I guess he really lived up to his name.
Why don't they leave rapists in prison until they are at least 80 years old? No way can a sex offender be rehabilitated in just 8 years.

I know it's most likely coincidental, but the real estate ad paired with this story is in poor taste, given the context of the story. Web site admin should remove the ad and replace it with something else.

Alright, it's a bit disurbing to see advertising in the middle of a story about a womans death made worse by the image of a young woman in the mini-ist of minis. Wrong advertising for this article. Edina Realty= dead real estate agent? I don't think Edina Realty would appreciate the connection.

It never occurred to me how a real estate agent job is such a 'sitting duck'. Day after day they go into an empty house with perfect strangers. I hope this won't start any copycats.

"James A. Hole, 34, of Brookfield, Ill." -- with a name so fitting... It seems to me that it was more than intentional homicide - the creep murdered that old lady for no reason. My heart goes out to her family and I hope they get justice when he is put in prison for the remainder of his miserable life.

Why can't the sex offenders and violent criminals do the planet a favor and kill each other? Instead, this ugly monster kills a pillar of the community and ruins an entire town. People move to towns like Cambridge to get away from crime. Death penalty anyone?
