Why haven't I seen anything in the papers about this incident? For those of you who don't know, a woman was hit by a car on Thursday, February 2, while crossing Huguenot Street at Harrison Street in New Rochelle. She was not in the crosswalk, which she should have been using, given the fact that she used a walker. She was taken to Jacobi in serious condition, where she died on Friday.

Southern Westchester is so poorly served by the press that I have to get my news from you.
Why can't someone publish decent, local, daily newspapers?
That strip is very dangerous. It is four lanes necking down to two because of the TRUMP Bldg construction on the north of Huguenot, and the cars zipping in & out of New Roc parking lot. A real Auto-venturi I wonder why she went to Jacoby (about a 35 Minute ride,) when NR Hospital was about 120 seconds away.
