Casa Brusco, in Eastchester

Eastchester's restaurant scene may not be as well known to Westchester foodies as, say, the higher-profile one of nearby Bronxville, but it may well deserve to be, thanks to newcomer Casa Brusco.

How funny to read this review after my friend told me that Casa Brusco is closing. I went there about 5 months ago and the menu items described above sound the same as what I had. A spring menu still served in the fall? I guess that's why it's closing..

I think that tey are closing because they don't pay they workers, they owe me a few weeks of money and also other things... The chef is always high..and for so many reason worst than that..

I think that the reason why it is closing is because of the continuing overturn of staff. The owner is a lush and I think that the only steady flow if customers is the Eastchester police department. The service sucks because the pay is crap. On top of that, the menu is a bore. What a joy it would be to have a local restaurant that I could enjoy instead of be disappointed with. I cant speak for the chef being high, but I do know that the owner is mentally unstable. I dont know if it is because he is a lush or if he needs some serious medication but both times I went there he just stood there staring into space and looking like he desperately needed a bath. also, his hostesses are rather unattractive. If I have to sit around all night waiting for food, at least give me something decent to look at. What a dup

I like your review James, they are true 100%. you should read also jobvent.com about this place. the owner has really serious problem with medications and such.. I don't think it will be closing soon, i know for a fact that the father will do anything to keep his son away from their investment firm office. That means keep him busy with his toy restaurant.. sorry for the workers..
