President Obama, following a tradition he began four years ago, announced Thursday that he would begin his inaugural festivities with a National Day of Service, and has asked Americans to organize and participate in community service projects on Jan. 19, the day before he is sworn into office for his second term.
“This year’s inaugural will reflect our belief that working together, we can keep moving our country forward and fulfill the promise of the American dream for all families,’’ Mr. Obama said, in a statement issued by his newly formed Presidential Inaugural Committee.
I hope we get a solar flare for his inauguration, and ALL TV in the USA is lost for at least 3 days, so noone can watch that debacle. lol

Yeah, he is actually a Zebra, and he is conflicted, his Black half doesn't want to work, and his White half is looking for a job that he himself has caused to lose, plus I don't like either half. lol

Jim DeMint was on the verge of being where every senator longs to be — holding a top position on an influential committee with oversight of industries critical to his state.

But, as is so often the case with the maverick from South Carolina, DeMint turned his back on convention. Instead he announced Thursday that he would resign his US Senate Seat.

And he was never seen alive again.

“Seriously guys...”

Sad that DeMint is leaving the senate, but hard to fault him taking into account the big raise in pay he is going to receive.

Meanwhile parts of New York are still not even close to being back to normal after the hurricane and the incompetent response to it by Obama and company, Obama does a quick tour to boost his reelection, says a few lies and is heralded by the corrupt media machines as a savior, and now while people suffer, Obama is going on a multimillion dollar vacation.

And Boehner and the republicans have lost their sanity, 4 years ago the democrats had a filibuster proof majority in the senate and owned the house and the presidency,

now thanks to stressing spending cuts the republicans own the house, and almost beat an incumbent president with a candidate who was only beaten due to attacks and name calling and demonizing by Obama, the democrats and the corrupt media.

The republicans need to embrace the small government philosophy again, or they will disappear into oblivion. the tax and spend crew are always going to vote democrat in the voting booth.

Let the Bush tax cuts expire for everyone, after all we all know that they supposibly just helped the rich as the democrats have trumpeted for years so losing them will just hurt the rich.

In the meantime the republicans can send a message, the only way to really have any tax cuts is to cut spending, no more putting things on credit for our children to pay.

and lets lose the bs arguments about the tax rates in the past, the so called rich pay a higher percentage in taxes now then before.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142412788...

It is time to do what is right for our country not for the politicians reelection and what is right is let the tax cuts expire completely unless large spending cuts are enacted, in other words lets jump right over the cliff and into a future of more responsible government.

With DeMint gone Boehner cleans house. The no tax increase pledge is over. The tea party is dead. The will of Obama will be obeyed.

Two possible paths:

1. Boehner cleans house, and follows the will of Obama, and the republican party gets routed in the next election and ceases to have any influence on the national stage,

2. if Boehner stands firm and declares that no tax cuts unless it is funded by spending cuts, states that he is standing up for our children's future and the future of our country, and allows the Bush tax cuts to expire, with the caveat that the Bush cuts only helped the rich anyway, and therefore their expiration will only hurt the rich, and then the republicans will survive to fight another day.

This country needs a broad tax base with virtually everyone paying taxes otherwise the people who do not pay taxes will have no reason to want to cut spending for something they get for free.

If we're wishing, I'd prefer a small asteroid collision that leaves everything within the Capitol Beltway a smoking crater.

Instant relief.

No one would notice right away - but eventually we'd become aware that the incessant stream of idiocy and partisan bullsh!t that streams forth from DC had stopped, and our bank accounts all increasing. Return to national prosperity ...

Yep. Obama - the Pied Piper of Socialist America. A nation follows him right over the cliff and into the sea to be drowned in economic and fiscal collapse.

With the fiscal "cliff" looming, Owebama is going on a 3 week vacation to Hawaii, while there, he should read a book called How to be President, for Dummies" also I imagine he will be trying once again to "play golf", but I bet his golf game is as sickly bad as his Presidency, so there is another book for him to read, Golf for Dummies, that will keep him busy, he is so stupid, I also bet it takes him 90 minutes, to watch that show 60 minutes.

My fear is that with the so called minority vote like the Blacks, Asians, single women, and the Latino vote, who will at least double their numbers by the next election, and who will vote Democratic after Owebama grants them amnesty, who the hell knows if the Republicans will ever get the WH again, they will have to put up a mighty strong candidate, not any of some of the last few they managed to lose with like Bush 41 for his 2nd term, Dole, Mccain, Romney, yeah I know Owebama scarcely won, but close is only good in horseshoes, and hand grenades a loss is a loss.

Their are secret clubs such as Scull and Bones and one other that I can't recall,OBAMAs presidentcy was not to happen. I beleave Supreme Court jurist Ginnsberg will retire and OBAMA will appoint Hillary Clinton in her place and pass many laws that will change America as we know it today.
